Yeach I am gonna go ahead and place a bit of blame on Jimmy for Aiyuk's fumble. Dude was WIDE OPEN and had to jump 4 feet in the air to catch Jimmy's errant pass that would have been picked if not for a superhuman effort.

This is Aiyuk catching the ball, and it's not a stretch to assume that had the ball hit him in stride, the craziness of falling down, not getting touched, and trying to make a play would not have happened and chances are there is no fumble.

Aiyuk deserves most of the blame for not protecting the ball as he got up to try to make a play. But to say Jimmy is blameless on this play is comedy. His horrible throw was what triggered everything.

lol Cardinals DB thought he had a gift interception there, but somehow Aiyuk got high enough to catch that. It was an insane catch by Aiyuk and it's unfortunate it's overshadowed by the fumble.

Or even if hit in stride Aiyuk gets that ball punched out. Lol QAnon theories are strong around here. Only person to blame for not protecting the ball is Brandon.

The defender that knocked the ball out from behind was only in the area because of him falling, and then getting up. If Aiyuk is hit in stride, he dusts the defender.

With all that being said, Jimmy played a decently good game today. Nothing to write home about, but good enough. Problem is "good enough" isn't going to get the job done on this team as it's currently constructed. We need better than good enough.

But Jimmy was not the reason we lost today.

fair and well said

And LOL at QAnon theories. You literally just said that this player who is circled would have still punched the ball out if he didn't have to turn his body around and leap to get this s**t pass, even if it hit him and stride and he could run with the ball.

Yeah, but I am the one with the conspiracy theory. Right.

Jimmy is not good enough any more to win us games against well coached teams. He's only good enough to win vs s**t oppenents. Just start trey already
If Jimmy was on the Cardinals would he even have been able to beat out Colt for the backup spot? Seems pretty definitive after today that Colt is the better QB.

How about we start the guy who gives us the best chance to win?

Jimmy on the Cards probably scores 50+ today. A real coach and OC would do wonders for him.
Jimmy's stats might look good, but the fact is we only scored 10pts in the second half.

Oh My God.
Jimmy can pad his stats in garbage time all he wants but he still sucks and he isn´t good enough to defeat good teams.

The season is over. Just start Trey. Playing with Trey is better than playing with Jimmy because we don´t want the Jordan Love situation.

Naw, can't fix his inconsistencies. Sounds good though.
Jimmy sucks. No way he does better on the cards. He has awful footwork, doesn't throw deep, and rarely makes any completions outside the hashes.
