Exactly. Has nothing to do with Jimmy's less than spectacular field vision. Kurt Warner doesn't know anything about quarterbacking despite being a Hall of Fame QB. True fact.
no adjustments from kyle. No ideas to make it work despite the seattle defense being porous af.
Shanahan pointed out that Garoppolo's first INT was more of a timing issue. He wanted Garoppolo to go to Sherfield there, and it could've been a huge play, but he needed to wait until the second window of the play was open to avoid the pick

Garoppolo's second INT was very bad, especially in context of understanding game flow. He'd completed a critical 3rd down to Aiyuk play prior. 49ers had finally moved out from shadow of goalpost. Every reason to be methodical/not aggressive on 1D. No reason to be overaggressive

It's both. It's a timing issue, sure. He could have waited and thrown it to Sherfield. That doesn't explain why he didn't see the BLUE JERSEY that was DIRECTLY in the path of the ball. That's also a vision issue. If you SEE the defender there lurking, you DON'T throw it.
EDIT -- Also Kurt Warner knows more about quarterbacking than Shanahan, and that's a fact whether homers want to admit it or not. Shanahan has never played QB. He has a scheme, which he knows better than anyone. But he's never played QB. Warner pointed out NUMEROUS instances where Jimmy appeared to fail to see what was going on on the field. Many times, and he got away with it over and over because of his incredible release and ability to make big time throws over the middle of the field.

Have to wait for the end zone view to be sure, but I believe the Wagner INT was more a bad throw than a vision or timing issue. The throw was way behind Sherfield. You can even see Trent throw his hands up after like "What the f**k?"

I can´t believe that after 6351 pages we are still here trying to argue if Jimmy is a good or a bad QB
He's limited.
What's pathetic is a fan base giving a Kmart blue light special needs qb 6300 pages. Doesn't say much for an organization to keep him around for long enough for it to get here.

Lol look at a the posters that were absent here the last month. Welcome back!
We'll be fine. Take a deep breath, breath into your paper bags, and maybe go spend some time with your family. It's one loss. It happens. Especially against Seattle which is never a typical game.

Can you be objective now or no? I for one haven't been absent in this thread at all....

And just when I was complimenting the guy about how he has taken care of the ball more this season, he throws 2 terrible interceptions.
The difference in the game. Wins/Losses reflect directly on QB play a vast majority of the time. This L is on Jimmy. Not time to panic though but he's got a lot to prove next week. Cincy is beatable.

^^^With a that said and done Jimmy had his shot and failed miserably. Terrible performance by him first then rest of the team. Pretty disappointed though I was expecting a down game at some point, it's just garbage that it was today. Better pick it up against a beatable Cincy or else...
I feel i was pretty objective... i understand who Jimmy is and understand there will be bad with the good. Mainly good. Every QB in the world has terrible games and to expect 5 good games in a row is asking a lot no matter who. Jimmy is no different. I fully expect him to come out next week and play better. Does that mean become Mahomes? No but he'll play much better I bet.
He was s**t... No excuses but no need to panic. Oh and I wasn't talking about you, more or less guys named Steve, Gore the disappearer and 5rings along with many others here. As I told Gore, I'm happy for him.

Kyle is just too safe with his passing game. He only wants to throw the ball if it is a play that is perfectly designed off his play action. Otherwise, Kyle just doesn't seem to be able to design good route combinations on normal passing plays.
He's running the passing plays that he thinks his avg starting QB can complete....how many open guys is Jimmy hitting off his first read? A s**t ton. That's play-calling IMO. We see it every damn week after the all-22 comes out...missed reads and taking the check down. over throwing and not being accurate enough.
What about the wide open throw to Juice? Great play-call and Jimmy over throws him...that's a TD
