…..OF COURSE YOU GUYS DO!!!

Even if I was to ignore every bad play he made after this injury, he still cost us between 10 and 14 points with his poor play. We lost by 3,.

Most definitely. No need to make excuses. Adrenaline can get you through a lot for a while. Yes, I can understand that touch pass INT Kyle alluded too being effected by a thumb injury (grip) but then again, maybe they shouldn't have been attempting those.

I'm more curious to know when Kyle knew and when he knew it was affecting play. Because that should have dictated more running and a different type of passing game.

This. I don't think Trey should be subbed in unless Jimmy just can't play at all because it's such a tough situation, but if Kyle knew it was bothering him, going to a more run heavy style woulda been nice.

I give the injury the benefit of the doubt. Maybe that throw to Juice would have been made if Jimmy didn't hurt his thumb….it was so open a high school quarterback wouldn't have missed it. Now, if he's really hurt, let's do the right thing by not playing him. I'd rather lose the game with a healthy Lance playing. Let Shanahan back his words up- Lance has been having his best practice for a month now.

called it lol

all the jimmy haters uniting together for a saints victory tonight and niner loss on sunday, we all know its true

Don't mind them that's all the been-die-hard-2019 fans.

I really do question how old some these people are?
Where are these people you guys are talking about.. haven't seen one saints post here
Still not seeing any saints cheering

Since no one is bothering to respond to your cheesy post I guess I will. Hey good one hahaha.
I'm all for not blaming his play because of the injury. But this is the reason they brought in Trey. Jimmy just is injury prone. Too many injuries to deal with. You need someone you can rely on.

I believe the injury happened after that throw

Catch said it happened in the 2Q?

End of the 2nd

K.. Almost there.

Well is pretty much an assumption by us right. After all we didn't see Jimmy anywhere on the injury report, even after the Seattle game and now this one. If its really a thumb injury then Jimmy shouldn't be starting for the rest of his 49er career. Gonna be a miracle if he can start against the Rams am I right!!!

49ers will probably get fined for that. I am sure they did that so Texans were preparing for Jimmy and not Trey.

No.

It wouldn't matter. He never hits Juice on those.

No one hits a wide open Juice.

Jimmy, Mullens, Trey. (Preseason was it?)

Hopefully Trey breaks the curse.
It's just who we are

How soon they forget. It probably took them awhile to figure out who this is and what position he played.

Who's they?

Also many blamed Norris for this, and not Alex.

But whatever.

Shanahan just made up the injury story keep Jimmy's trade value high.

"Yes, that thumb injury really hurt his accuracy. What a shame. The real Jimmy is the guy we saw in the previous 4 games with a healthy thumb."

TRANSLATION: Come on guys, we need at least a 2nd in trade to help offset what we gave up to draft Trey.

Trey has already been hurt this year.

I don't know fellas. Seems like they are trying too hard.

I don't know who or what to believe.

But I'm even more pissed off about that Titan loss now.

IMO, he's getting benched. I think it's a BS out/excuse. When the same thing happened against Seattle with the "calf contusion" he told Shanny and was out the rest of the game. How the f**k can it be used as an excuse for some throws but then he goes on a perfect drive on the last one of the game? And then there's nothing on his thumb in the press conference or even mentioned by him. If you've ever sprained your thumb on your throwing hand you would know, it would affect ALL throws and you most certainly would get it addressed during and after the game.

Teams don't put out injury reports until they practice and our first practice since the game was today.

I see. So you blame Jimmy for all those passes that AJ Brown caught. Check!
He can't catch them if they are not on his he field

That has to be the dumbest answer I've ever seen. He WAS on the field. He WAS making those catches. AGAIN and AGAIN. Because the defense kept giving him a wide open field. This is Jimmy Garoppolo's fault? Really? He is to blame for all those long Titans drives in the second half? Are you really going there?

I called this earlier go back and check. 10 days to prep for Houston. They saw enough in the Titans game KS visibly upset on the sideline. JL & KS want to make the move and at home for Houston with extra time to prep is the time to do it. Wouldn't be surprised if it is TL going forward and I predicted they would do it under the guise of injury to save face for JG, to have less controversy for KS, that's all it is.

You did call all of this. Props

Seems like a pretty likely thumb injury play. Still can't believe that wasn't roughing!

Juice's pass was with around 13 mins left in the 2nd. The sack happened with around 3 in a half mins left in the 2nd….so that was a plan old bad Jimmy outside the numbers/downfield pass per usual.
