Shanny and Warner saying trey has been pretty good as of late. I'll take that.

Most definitely. No need to make excuses. Adrenaline can get you through a lot for a while. Yes, I can understand that touch pass INT Kyle alluded too being effected by a thumb injury (grip) but then again, maybe they shouldn't have been attempting those.

I'm more curious to know when Kyle knew and when he knew it was affecting play. Because that should have dictated more running and a different type of passing game.

In other words "Jimmy actually played a good game, for the other team."

49ers fans: Shanahan is making up this injury to bench Jimmy

It's happened twice now. No mention of injury during a Jimmy stinker game, then at halftime (or a few days later)... JIMMY IS INJURED!!!

So Kyle wants Jimmy benched so he makes up an injury. Even though Juice has already said Jimmy told him about it during the game... But now he needs Jimmy to lie about it and other teammates and front office. You think that is what is happening?

Benchitis can strike at any moment. This is called gamesmanship. See the Rams doing it last year with Goff/Wolford. We spend the whole week with JG "questionable" so HOU doesn't know who to prep for. We also again have him questionable leading into the Rams so they don't know who to prep for. It saves face for JG. It saves undo controversy for KS. Every party has incentive to go this route.

There may have been some innocent comment in-game about he knocked his thumb or whatever. You really think some thumb injury which he stayed in the game for on Thurs night will keep him out 10 days later?

It's not a good look for Jimmy or our draft pick we'd get if that Titans game is the last game he played for us. It leaves a sour image in other GMs minds. They will see those 2 picks and say 4th rounder! If he throws for 300 yds and 3 TDs against Houston then maybe a 3rd rounder. This league is like that

They are inferior - we should embarrass these guys.

Just smoked the Chargers

Mayo needs to lay off the mayo. "Inferior foe?" Really?

Yeah, I maybe exaggerating a little - but, we should handle them.

There's no exaggeration, mayo. Dont allow yourself to be bullied off of a correct opinion. From top to bottom, the Texans are an inferior team. This isnt debatable.

And Aldon Smith is a great person minus a few hiccups.

Yeah, that seems a hell of a lot more serious than his status being in doubt. Chipped bone and torn ligament? That isn't anything that will heal before the playoffs.

Kyle's right. Jimmy is not bad except when he sucks.

This. Our backups are on par with their starters across the board and I'm gonna give the coaching advantage to Kyle.

I'm all for not blaming his play because of the injury. But this is the reason they brought in Trey. Jimmy just is injury prone. Too many injuries to deal with. You need someone you can rely on.

Well if they use Trey as if he's Natrone Means again, then he'll be injury prone as well.

So hopefully we get back to undercenter/playaction plays with Trey.

Please no Pistol.

Yeah hopefully he runs when it's his choice and nobody is open etc. aka. Last resort.
