Dr Google says torn UCL in thumb is 4-6 weeks. Who knows how accurate, especially without knowing Jimmy's severity.

Point is I don't think this should still be an issue in March.
Shanny says it's not a fracture. 1 hour later it turns out it is a fracture. Dude is probably the biggest liar in the league lol

LLet me get this straight. He played the entire second half with a ligament tear and bone chip and let a game-tying drive with one minute left. Makes absolutely no sense

Similar to the injury against the Jets last year. Got hurt, and game adrenaline kept him going, and played well, but was shut down after halftime. Could very well be a similar situation, but in this case, he kept playing.

As I've said.....I do seem to remember him shaking his throwing hand in pain sometime early in the game. I guess we'll see.
Either way, we probably weren't going anywhere in the playoffs. Might as well see how Trey's development is going.
I think all the speculation is from shanty's close personal friends in the media looking to give him cover for his Trey Lance escapades. When the Imaging comes in they have to have a doc to read it so they won't be b******* after that. This organization is a freaking Carnival

I'll probably catch hell for this, but think we have a better chance of going deep in the playoffs under Trey, despite his lack of experience. That lack of experience also translates to a lack of film on him. And Shanahan has an entire year of practicing him, knowing what his strengths and weaknesses are. If I was any opposing playoff team, I would be f**king terrified.

To be clear, you cant believe Jimmy got hurt? Well that makes one of you.

I believe he got hurt. This is real life. Shanny would be a man and just say we're moving on. Usually the most simple answer is the correct answer. He sprained his hand.

Besides Jimmy is a man too. He's not going to let Shanahan get away with something like that. Jimmy is hurt. This wouldn't be the first time.

Trey Lance will lead us to the super bowl. Book it

his ego is hurt, but can't put that on the injury report.

You know its fans like these that really should be rooting for the eagles.

You might be right. Although I will miss his quick release
Whoa, so we've likely seen the last game of Jimmy as a Niner!
