Treydeywhatever has been talking down to posters for days because Kyle never lies.

And Jonny. 🤫

1. Either Jimmy didn't say anything to Shanahan during the game or
2. We are really f**ked with trey

You're a real cool guy. Just in case you forgot where you are, we are all fans. Sad that your crush on Jimmy is stronger than your fondness of fellow fans. SMH.

If it was a serious injury I think it would be a lot more disgusting cheering on his injury. Its just a thumb injury.

I'm not happy about his injury. Injuries from him are an expected thing, and I'm not at all surprised. I'm not all confident either with him being replaced by Trey, but we will see. I still get the feeling they are not going to the playoffs regardless of what happens these next two games, so either way its not a big deal.

If he popped the ligament and chipped the bone it is a serious injury. I did the same thing at FSU football camp when I was in high school. I have limited range of motion in that thumb to this day. His ability to grip the ball will be hampered, will probably need surgery.

I was responding to another poster that you cut out regarding shades of CK 2012. There was an opportunity for that and didn't happen.

As far as sitting, I thought that didn't help? IIRC, CK didn't get he majority of snaps that off-season, Alex did. CK still came in when his number was called and did his thing in route to a SB.

Its nothing against Trey not many can do what CK did. All I was doing was responding to that line of thinking.

I'm saying let's compare them the same no? Kap was a 4 yr starter in college too.

you brought up Lance with a week of practice vs AZ (with Murray/Jones/Watt/Hopkins etc) I believe SF moved the ball onto AZ side of the field most of the game, Lance put up 300 yards of offense and they lost by one score. Jimmy played vs a colt McCoy team without Hopkins/watt/Murray and got killed.

Kap ran a pistol offense and was a RB/QB at Nevada. He was raw as hell like Trey.

You have been arguing that sitting Trey was a waste of a year. Now you're arguing that Kap had the benefit of sitting a year before he got his start lol

Also, I'm not comparing Trey vs Jimmy cardinal games. You are. But even in doing so, you don't mention the fact that the defense showed up for one game and not the other. James Conner made our defense his b***h. Kittle and Aiyuk both had costly fumbles that negated a possible 14 pts. But you conveniently forgot about that. You mention all he players missing on offense for the Cards as if that effects Jimmy performance and not the defense lol

My point was that Trey had an eerily same situation happen earlier in the year to give shades of 2012 Kap but wasn't able to. You can point to excuses or reasons, depending on which side of the argument your on all you want but facts are facts. Don't mean to offend you.

lets hope Trey makes the most of his second chance to give us shades of 2012 Kap.

Like I said before, go root for the WFT. Taylor Heinicke's style might be more to your liking.

Why would Trey have anything to do with this? Unless Jimmy were injured to the point he couldn't play, it's better for him to push through an injury than throw Trey in mid game. Trey's likelihood for success, especially as a rookie, are much higher if he practices all week with the 1's and has the game plan tailored to his strengths rather than Jimmy's.
So…back to lucky to get a fourth rounder if he played his last down here?

Like I said before, been rooting for this team all my life so no. Keep trying to get a rise out of anonymous forum posters you will never personally meet

We're on to Trey.
Problem with Jimmy is we never know what we're going to get. One great game and then a game we should have won...against the Titans. We just know he's never going to get us over the hump. We'll probably be 1 and done in the playoffs, if we even make it. Trey doesn't have the experience yet but at least we can groom him for next year and get him ready.
