So was Joe Montana. Not saying Joe is JG. Just saying it's a tough league. Joe only got 16 starts twice in 15 tries. Ask a WTF fan about RG3. Guy was walking on water in 2012 and an injury in the playoffs his rookie year ended it pretty much he was never the same.

Don't compare what Joe Montana had to face to what Garoppolo goes through. Defenders could take multiple steps, lower their helmet and drive QB's into the dirt in Montana's era.....and a lot of stadiums, it was concrete that they were driven into.

Not comparable. Today's league is a joke in comparison.

every qb is protected.... cept jimmy

Eh, doubt it, not from a finger injury at least.

Jimmy's trade value will remain unchanged, IMO. If anything this injury will only justify the worst game he's played as Niner. Which is why I think it's plausible to think it's a "fake injury" to save Jimmy's face.

It's literally not fake. You didn't watch the video posted in here?

Whoa, so we've likely seen the last game of Jimmy as a Niner!

Lame

Sad way to go out for a player who handled a tough situation as professionally as possible. Poetic it ends on an injury.

That's why we did it. Imagine having to put Sudfield in right now lol

We might have to if Trey gets hurt again. LOL

You're #1 on the list of low class fans. Do better man

Thats a compliment coming from the guy who saying bad karma will happen to peoples kids. Seek help and find better life priorities.

lol this. 808 is bringing up ppl's kids bc jimmy hurt his finger and ppl are excited about Trey playing in his place.

Jimmy G is still someone else's kid and y'all over here celebrating him getting hurt. The double standard in here is strong.

He's a grown man and he hurt a finger. He's making 25M a year and banging pronstars. He will be fine. No one is celebrating his injury - at least not me or Gore.

You bringing up other ppl's kids is ridiculous and creepy. Even if someone is celebrating his injured finger - your comment wasn't warranted.

Some people are just obsessed with their fav celeb or athlete and have a warped view on reality.

Oh, I'm sure. You should see how much he defends all things Seahawks in that thread. He got butthurt because I was calling their team and fan base names. lol

Every QB is protected, but there is no doubt that the superstars are more protected than others - Brady, Rodgers, Wilson.....

.....Having said that, JG is protected, but the guy is injury prone. That's just a fact.

Can the PL please get back to football?

About the 3:50 mark of the 2nd quarter,...where it should've already been 21-0 anyway.

This. I for one am thankful to Jimmy for turning around this organization. It was a s**t show before he got here. Everyone forgets this team was 1 and 10 when he got here. Fans have short memories. A true leader and professional. Shanalynch put him in a really s**tty spot this year and he handled it as well as anyone. Sorry most fans did not appreciate what he brought to the team.
