Wrong. Some are thrilled about he injury.

Exactly. We weren't going to go far in the playoffs anyway so I don't know why peeps are crying for/against either Jimmy or Trey. I was just hoping for a playoff ride however long but seeing what Trey can do for us now is a bit exciting as well.

I just want playoffs as well no matter the QB. I don't care if we lose first round. Kyle needs it as well. Can't have another losing season and no playoffs 4 out 5 seasons.

Yup. Highly unlikely that happens now though.

Why not? Jimmy is holding the team back. Trey can easily come in and complete a 10 yard pass or to a wide open player. Kyle schemes up easy plays for Jimmy that he can take advantage of. Trey should be able. No problem.

Did you say the same thing about the Hawks and Cardinals game too?

Hey...maybe he's grown beyond a high school game plan by now.

Let's hope so but my expectations are low for his development at this point. Just trying to be as realistic as possible for the kid.

Maybe he pulls a Kap.

Anyone can come in an play Kyle's QB friendly system that has players open all over the field that Jimmy always fails to see. I don't see why Trey can't come in and take another level. He spent the whole year off studying film and working on his mechanics. Plus I don't know if you heard but he can throw hard and run like he wind. Playoffs or bust. No excuses.

like everyone keeps repeating shades of 2012 Kap. Let's go!!!

I'm not buying it.

A few days after Lynch got busted liking that tweet this info comes out?

I think Garapplo told the team he is done. If I was Garapplo I'd say F it too if my GM did a boneheaded thing like that.

Shanahan was likely done with him too after that last game and this is a better excuse to save his trade value than having to bench him.
This all day. Exactly what I was thinking

LOL. Tin hats are in full force.

Is it even legal to fake an injury in the NFL?

Lol I said fake an injury.
Made of glass. Has been since starting games with Pats during Defaltegate scandal season.

Do you really, actually believe that Trey would give the niners a better shot at winning than a healthy Jimmy? If the answer is yes, what did you smoke this morning?

It depends on the gameplan. A good gameplan to beat theirs will always work. If Kyle takes the thinking out of it and tells Trey to just execute the play, then sure.

He would get demolished if Kyle told him to stand back in the pocket and throw all day. Kyle would have to call his ultimate gameplan and be ahead if Lafleur every play in order to win with Trey.

Absolutely.

Was I the only one terrified every time Garrapolo dropped back to pass?

Run the ball vs GB. They still can't stop it. Lance would give us a better chance to win IMO.

Anyone huh...is that why Kyle is 7-27 without him here?
Jimmy has a pattern of showing up injured when or after playing poorly. This is about the third time it has happened. His former New England teammates called him out for the same garbage. The bright side is this is most likely the end of Jimmy Gaffathrow in SF.

Yeah no. Shanahan's scheme is stupid hard and takes alot of time to master.

"Bro, we lost two games. One of them was because Jimmy Garoppolo was being a b---. He decided not to play right before the game. Jacoby came out and played with a f–ked up thumb and played his heart out, but Jimmy was just being a b---- about it all," Bennett said, via NBC Sports Boston.

Kyle got to start Trey for one game this year and he literally got hurt getting hit nearly 30 times that game most of which were designed to happen.
Conflicted about this. Really want to make the playoffs if only to feel better about giving away 2 first round picks. At least they wouldn't be too high. But, I'm also eager to see the Trey era begin, but he better be a lot better than the last time we saw him. I also expect Kyle to call much better plays. No more using this kid as a running back.
