Imagine if it happened on the totally meaningless, what are we doing QB sneak to end the first half when we just let the clock run out.

It happened on a drop back. Sitting ducks get hurt too.
Welp gotta say the stretch run was really important for his draft stock and boy does it take a hit now. The last action he put on tape if indeed that was it is a clunker with some bad mistakes. The cherry on top? He drills home the fact that he's Mr. Glass and gets hurt (again). It's a real bummer man for JG and for our draft position.

I wonder if the Saints come calling. I think they might be able to swing a 2nd and 3rd for Jimmy?? Washington might be another good bet but I think the darkhorse will be Cleveland.

Oooh forgot about NYG, maybe they give the 9ers Daniel Jones straight up. Would you guys take that trade??

A second? Really? So caught up in a draft pick. We spent a two. Got a bunch a years better or worse. Now we get to put that salary cap way behind us. We can buy a pick with $26m. He is not a 2 nor I doubt a 3 at this point. Lynch would be happy with a four and punt.

NVM we releasing, we won't get anything in return but his salary.

That may be the case too.

So… in an hour we've gone from he had a bad game… to he isn't at practice but it's probably nothing… to it's probably something… to it's a thumb sprain… go it's probably more significant than a thumb sprain.

At this rate will Jimmy even be alive by Sunday?

I called this earlier go back and check. 10 days to prep for Houston. They saw enough in the Titans game KS visibly upset on the sideline. JL & KS want to make the move and at home for Houston with extra time to prep is the time to do it. Wouldn't be surprised if it is TL going forward and I predicted they would do it under the guise of injury to save face for JG, to have less controversy for KS, that's all it is.

Well now you are just being stupid and spiteful. Having a damaged ligament and chipped bone in the thumb of your throwing hand is going to effect the way you can throw the ball and hardly qualifies as an excuse. Probably explains why he looked so down at the presser after the game.

So it only affected his throws for portions of the game? Explain how it didn't seem to affect the last drive? The loss "knowing he had a lot to do with it" explains him looking down at the presser for me. Not having any ice or anything on his thumb let alone him even mentioning it is another thing I question about all this. He had no problems taking no accountability and using "we" for everything with all the excuses, seems to me the thumb would've been an even better excuse for him. I've seen/heard him blame the injured ankle in the past and talk about the calf after coming back from it this season too. This all just doesn't add up for me, but whatevs I'm ready for the Lance era either way

fragile head and made of glass— his record of incompetence speaks for itself. Good bye and good riddance. Not expecting Lance to look like Brady this year or next but at least he will be fun to watch while he grows and reaches his potential. I sincerely hope Jimmy is ok so he can go to another team. We need the draft pick even if it is a 6th rounder.

Jimmy's injuries
Sep 18, 2016NFLShoulder A/C Joint Sprain Garoppolo returned to the #2 role behind Tom Brady in Week 5.

Sep 23, 2018NFLKnee ACL Tear Grade 3Garoppolo tore his left ACL late in Week 3 and missed the rest of the season. He had surgery Oct. 3.
Sep 20, 2020NFLPedal Ankle (high) Sprain Grade 3Garoppolo picked up a high right ankle sprain during the Week 2 win against the Jets. He missed two games

Nov 2020NFLPedal Ankle (high) Sprain Grade 3Garoppolo suffered an ankle injury during Week 8's contest at Seattle. He missed the rest of the season.

Oct 3, 2021NFLLeg Calf Strain Garoppolo sustained a calf injury during Week 4's contest against the Seahawks.

December 21. Sticks his thumb in his ass and chips a bone while giving away a game.

Lance to the rescue!

Lol December 21 injury

Jimmy gave his all this team and this is how we treat him. We should just give him Dee Ford money and pay him for not playing. We gave him a crappy supporting cast that RACd up yardage but were unable to score Tds. That and our wideouts were way too short.
I guess that explains the crappy throws in that game, he basically got the same thing Trey had in his index finger except even worse.
