Oooh forgot about NYG, maybe they give the 9ers Daniel Jones straight up. Would you guys take that trade??

How about if Seattle signs or trades for Jimmy. That would be insane.

It would be insanely awesome.

Agreed. Jimmy has huge limitations and Kyle knows them all. Trading him to Seattle would be the gift that keeps on giving.

Seahawks and Wilson headed to another difficult offseason. No extension in the cards. Change could be in the air https://t.co/LppoCFyEVj

Lol, you don't need to be in medicine my man, just need Google. There is a UCL in the thumb. We don't need to find excuses for inaccurate throws.

Well now you are just being stupid and spiteful. Having a damaged ligament and chipped bone in the thumb of your throwing hand is going to effect the way you can throw the ball and hardly qualifies as an excuse. Probably explains why he looked so down at the presser after the game.

It's not hard to follow along and read the entire thread if you are going to chime in. The poster had incorrectly stated that it was an elbow injury. He then said that elbow injury (which didn't exist) was likely the reason for his inaccuracies on Thursday night. The cherry on top was the "bingo." like he just solved the mystery of Jimmy's poor performance. So please, before we start calling posters stupid, let's first try and read.
So this is the way the Jimmy era ends. Not with a bang but a whimper.

I get as ticked off as the next guy at Jimmy's repeated mistakes and boneheaded decisions at times but it really bums me out that Jimmy is ending his tenure here on the injury list. Hopefully he can land a spot on a solid, QB needy team next year and balls out (as long as it's not against us).

So it only affected his throws for portions of the game? Explain how it didn't seem to affect the last drive? The loss "knowing he had a lot to do with it" explains him looking down at the presser for me. Not having any ice or anything on his thumb let alone him even mentioning it is another thing I question about all this. He had no problems taking no accountability and using "we" for everything with all the excuses, seems to me the thumb would've been an even better excuse for him. I've seen/heard him blame the injured ankle in the past and talk about the calf after coming back from it this season too. This all just doesn't add up for me, but whatevs I'm ready for the Lance era either way

Lol jfc...

We need Treydey to do his slow motion zoomed in replay of Jimmy twisting off that bottle cap. 🧐

I would gift him to the hawks. That is a gift the will keep on giving us. 2 wins a year until he breaks. So maybe 1 a year…

I still say this is about the Lynch tweet and Shanahan wanting to bench him for Lance and the Organization trying to save face.
He must have had this thumb injury since week one
Trey Lance played his 1 start with a sprained knee. Looked fine & then oh wait he was out 2-4 weeks. How did Trey Play with a sprained knee & look fine? Hmmm maybe football players play injured all the time. Jimmy is is gonna be out 4-5 weeks. He'll probably need a minor surgery. Brees had the same injury an came back fairly quick.
f**k it, just play Lance from here out.

Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady played last season with a torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee, an injury he suffered in his last year with the Patriots, according to reports on Thursday.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, the knee was an issue all season. He had surgery in late February, shortly after leading the Bucs to a Super Bowl title and a season in which he threw for 4,633 yards with 40 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Brady has declined to give specifics about his knee surgery this offseason, only confirming it was "pretty serious."

"It was an injury I dealt with really since last, you know, April, May," Brady told reporters in June. "I knew I would have to do something at the end of the year and happy I did it and it was probably something that certainly needed to be done and there was a great outcome so I'm very happy about that. I feel like there's some things I'll be able to do this year that I wasn't able to do last year."

Affirmative. And this one he transitioned from 1 team to another over the offseason without seeing about,...and even winning a championship with it.

So that counts as 1 1/2 seasons on a "tear." Tear doesn't necessarily mean full tear.
