Jimmy playing doesn't bother me.

Jimmy having a horrible game and torpedoing our season because he decided/was allowed to play with an injured thumb that clearly affected him bothers me a lot.

If he goes it better be because he can play up to the level we expect good Jimmy to.

The smart move would be to let Trey play this game. Texans are not very good and our run game will probably lead us to a win. Why are we going to trot JImmy on the field with a busted thumb? That's how we lose this game if he goes out there with a bad thumb and turns it over. Let Trey play this game and Jimmy rest a week. Then reevaluate next week. He will probably reaggravate it again the Texans if he plays.
