That is not what was said. If jimmy can go and play confident he'll be out there and also added no one is 100% healthy this time of year.. geesh

Really because the stats looked identical. Yes there was an interception thrown yet we still won the game. Jimmy hasn't been capable of doing that all season

Statistically, Jimmy has had much better games. I know we're all excited about our new toy, but let's come back to reality a bit. The Texans are dreadful, I literally only knew one player on their defense. Trey threw what should have been two picks and missed a bunch of open receivers. He had excellent protection for the most part, bailed too early a few times and was clearly only making one read with an occasional glance.

But I thought he played well. He made some throws Jimmy can't make, but when it comes down to the nuances of the game... clock management, situational awareness... I trust Jimmy more right now. He's our starter for the rest of the year. If you think otherwise you seriously don't know football.

Not with torn ligament he isn't.

Excellent post... your football acumen can't be argued with. I give in.
Jimmy will still start. We will probably not make much noise in the playoffs (if we make it in). It is what it is.

I'm excited and encouraged for 2022.

Well yeah. Getting eight year vet stats in Lance's second game is the best thing you can ask for

I don't even know what any of that means.

Funny thing is, if the bolded was said with zero additional context clues, I wouldn't have the slightest clue which of our two QBs you were referring to.

Yeah, that's the deciding factor for me. Jimmy's injured. What else is new. It's going to be Trey Lance for the foreseeable future as long as Lance continues to win. I hope Jimmy can play against the Rams, since a healthy Jimmy is still better than Lance right now, but with the injury, you have to play Trey against the rams. I can see Trey playing in the playoffs if Jimmy can't go in the Rams game and Trey wins against the Rams is a comfortable manner.

Good point, but for me, the deciding factor is experience. Just to be clear, I'm not a Jimmy defender. I didn't like him before not liking him was cool. But for now, he's our best chance at winning a Super Bowl. We have a real shot, the NFC doesn't scare me at all. The penalties and turnovers need to stop, though.
I guess it depends on how hurt that finger actually is. Jimmy with injuries is not good at all, we've seen him several times now try to play injured and he's not ready.

He definitely would give us the best chance to win against the Rams if he was healthy though. This is gonna be a very tough decision for Kyle.
