Jimmy is better than Lance. Maybe that's not the case someday, but right now it is and it's really not close.

If you can't see that I don't know what you're watching.

Trey can throw 10 yard passes just like Jimmy, plus more. He just needs to play - if Jimmy can't throw straight, you got to give the start to a healthy Trey.

if you wanna ignore JG's quick release which is one of the main reasons he is so effective against the Rams

Trey is nowhere near Jimmy right now in terms of understanding and diagnosing plays and in general running Kyle's offense. There is a reason Shanahan wants Jimmy out there so badly. I get Trey is new and exciting, but this year, clearly. Jimmy gives the niners the best chance at making a deep run in the playoffs. The injury is the only concern.

He's hurt though and it looks like they're going to push him to play. Trey is 100% and ready to explode.

jimmy looks fine to me, granted he's a tough sob dealing with that pain
Lets go Jimmy!
Guys are going to be targeting his hand all day. Imagine the pain of someone hitting the hand or attempting to cause a fumble with a punch out. I know it doesn't happen with qb's much but guys all know his hand is sensitive. Not fun to imagine what the Rams are being told in meetings.

Oh, you know they're going to go for that thumb.

There will be late hits on Jimmy and let's hope the crooked zebras call some personal fouls. Of course, if it knocks him out of the game then

They're for sure gonna look to take him out if he plays. Remember what Aaron Donald did to Alex Smith when he first came back from his gruesome injury..

Yeah, Lombardi said Garoppolo told him he was actually lifted off the ground by his thumb and then slammed down on top of it. And Dennis Brown said all DL sharks will be treating that thumb like blood in the water with zero remorse.
