What's his record minus 2019??????? Come on people. That historic d carried us and james to that record. Bum is prob not much over 500 since. 8-7 this year??????? Seriously. He is just able to run Kyle's D to win some games. That's why they drafted Trey.
lol if you want to disregard his games against NO, LAR and some really solid performances against a few others. but it's overtly obvious youre just a hater of Jimmy the "bum"
what if it was possible to admit Jimmy is a QB that wins games, is limited, but has also had some really nice games. And what if while admitting that, you also can admit that Lance has more potential and think he's the long term solution. Wouldn't be cool if people were mature enough to do that without feeling like they needed to choose a side.
This isn't 6th grade. Some dudes dig in so hard its mind bottling.

Lol that's all he does is take heat for the losses and when he wins it was a team win.
There's context to all of it....it shouldn't be all one person either way for every W/L.

If Jimmy starts and loses, then the players will revolt against Kyle.
Is that knee jerk enough?

Jimmy won in preseason the job
Lance was number two and did his job last week
Jimmy if cleared to play will start as it should be
Next year it's Lance's team unless otherwise noted
Jimmy ain't losing the job just because he was out injured one week
Thats just how football typically works

Not to alex Smith.
I always had this theory that Alex would not have gotten us to that superbowl, but he would have won the superbowl where kap failed on 1st and goal

Lmao, if Jimmy was healthy enough to play and was prevented from doing so players would revolt.

That's just so short sighted, there's a big difference between "cleared to play" and healthy.
If the thumb is effecting him I just don't see how he could be considered the better QB.
I still remember Ladanian Tomlinson sitting out of the AFC Championship game, he could have gone, but his knee was banged up to the extent that Michael Turner was better than him, he stepped aside.

Yeah KS needs to own this one. Three clearances have to happen for an injured player to play.
First is medical. Team doctors have to clear the player that's number one.
Next is the player. Basically 100% of the time players want to play even if they probably shouldn't. LDT as you mention that's a rare case and he took some heat for taking himself out of the game probably unfairly.
Third is coach. Even if a player is cleared by doctors and says yes I can play the coach can step in and say wait a minute you may be cleared but you're only at 75% your normal ability so we're going to have you inactive or as the backup. You need all three doctors, player and coach to give the green light for JG to play and Kyle shouldn't have him out there if he's going to have a rough time with the injury. I imagine medically he'll be cleared cuz we see he's been cleared to throw in practice. JG will say I can do it that's who he is. KS needs to step in on this one.

Completely agree, it'll be down to Kyle, and I don't think he'll make the right choice. Jimmy could help by being honest though.

Maiocco was just saying thatJimmy has been throwing pretty well in practice. Getting from not being able to throw to being able to throw 10 yards is apparently not that hard. Now they're concerned about Williams because of that ongoing elbow injury. How well will he be able to handle Donald or Miller. Jimmy's thumb may be okay in practice but what happens when he gets hit. I seem to remember the same thing with his ankle injury. It was okay in practice but as soon as live action started it was a different thing.

Trey gonna have to save the day if Jimmy goes down.
