Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Los Angeles Rams

At this point I don't care but I would like to see Jimmy have a final shot. Problem is, if he loses we will never hear the end of it. As a fan of the guy I don't want to see him leaving on those terms.

I'd be alot more concerned with a playoff birth.

Jimmy gets the ball out faster than Trey on passes that take place in the congested middle of the field. which is effective vs. the Rams.

I can be concerned about 2 things.

You missed the "alot more" part? Clearly I took your post as a suggestion that that's the main "problem" you'd have if he loses.

Don't care for him as a player, fine. Want a different qb fine. But to hate him? Come on. Hate guys like Jay cutler. Don't hate Jimmy.

Why should we care about this though? These are grown men. This is a business. Jimmy had a part in the reason we mortgaged the immediate future (draft picks) on his replacement.

We've seen what he's done at the Super Bowl... we've seen what he's done this year. He's inconsistent. Why bet on that? If we bet wrong, we lose out on a season... he's gone anyway. If we bet wrong with Trey, at least he'll have valuable experience in these must win games late in the year.....which can come in handy next year.

But if anything Trey has showed us, he does a pretty good job taking care of the ball.

He has 71 pass attempts, and has two INTs. He has 38 rush attempts and no turnovers. It was similar, if not better in college.

The main thing he talked about today when asked about the Rams, was about protecting the ball. He says he believes in our defense. Felt if he just protects the ball, we'll have a good chance at winning.

Same. Raw Trey Lance > Injured Jimmy in my opinion still.

But he looked pretty good in passing the ball in practice today. Or it could be all staged. I don't know, but I think Trey gives us the better chance to win vs an Injured Jimmy, but when I say injured Jimmy, I mean he's below 80%. If he's 95% (like how he looked in those recent videos) - then it's a harder question for me as to who is exactly better.

If yall want to use the word "hate", yall have shown legit personal hate for other past QBs. Jimmy doesn't get that kind of "hate".
