AND that isn't wrong, he the 2nd highest paid player in the playoffs this yr. 5th highest during the season.

my point Jimmy and 49ers signed a deal where we have aminimal cap hit of cur i mean his guaranteed money before season started was $0. They signed a deal where they gave him more money up front and in exchange the team can move on from him without a penalty.

We were not hurting for space this year next year is different with all the contract extensions,

I mean Rodgers jumps to 47 million next year. Mahomes is only 7 million then jumps to 40+million and they arent cuttable like Jimmy is (not that they would want to just talking from contract perspective)

I never said he should be cut….you have no idea what Lance would be right now if he got every snap from day 1.

I never said he should be cut….you have no idea what Lance would be right now if he got every snap from day 1.

Nop we don't. However if they spent some of that dough on the secondary and some other holes it's wouldn't be out of the question that we could of had success

Yea I'm trying to figure out "this was always the plan" thing and when it applies and when it doesn't.

When we discuss Trey and his lack of playing time despite numerous things we hear this was always the plan to sit a year behind Jimmy.

When we discuss Jimmy it's he's not worth his contract. We could have saved money and used it elsewhere.

They were never restructuring his contract after drafting Lance….pay cut sure, restructure not a chance.

past cap hits mean nothing….it's 2021 and that's what is being discussed. They never touched his contract once regardless.

they can constantly restructure Mahomes deal to lose his cap. He's not going anywhere unlikely Jimmy.
