This was a hard fought game in a hostile environment and the team came through. Doesn't matter how you win in the end.

Jimmy did enough again and I'm ok with that. When he doesn't do enough and we lose, that's a different story

Facts.

I mean... To put things in perspective, in the same conditions...

49ers Offense: 4.1 yards per play, 12 first downs, 4/11 3rd down efficiency, 1 INT thrown, 4 sacks allowed
Packers Offense: 4.9 yards per play, 14 first downs, 5/12 3rd down efficiency, 5 sacks allowed

Outside of the opening drive, the Packers were shutdown on offense just as we were. And the 49ers also blew a coverage that lead to a 75 yard pass.

The point I'm making is... Yes, Jimmy and the offense weren't good today, but the other offense with the elite League MVP candidate wasn't that much better.

All in, we do need to be better next week when weather is better. We need to be. Special Teams shouldn't have to bail you out like that, but whatever... we won. Celebrations! This win means we finished as one of the four best teams in football.

Rodgers had the ball wit 4:36 and did absolutely nothing. Jimmy had the ball with 3:20 and hit 2 critical passes to beat Aaron Rodgers.

End of story

Why?

He's been great at protecting the ball....he preaches how important that is in his game.

he's more healthy that Jimmy as well.

that got shut down after we lost the Superbowl for me. if we make it to the SB, and win, then have at it.

All he does is win though.

if it's not a Championship, then it holds no value.

he got way too locked on to Adams I feel like. understandably so, but still.
How I saw Jimmy G tonight, in stages:

- Receivers dropping his early passes
- Took too many sacks, but better than throwing it up for an INT
- Example: His INT. Has to throw that away to live for another play. Just inexcusable.
- Made some key throws in the 2nd half to get just enough yards for the two FGs.

Overall, a real C- of a game at best, but at least he didn't mess it up at the end and kept us having the chance to win. And we did.

He just has to be better in at least one of the remaining two games - if not both - for a SB win to happen. The Giants may have ridden their defense in 2007 and 2011, but Manning made the big plays when it was needed in both runs, too.

I disagree. Cornerbacks and quarterback Our weakest link how does that complement our team

Does to me. Jeff Garcia never won a championship and I have awesome memories. Alex never won a SB and I have great memories. Kaep almost won a SB and I have awesome memories. This season has been one of a kind. We're one of 4 teams left. Just be happy broski.

Our pass protection was HORRENDOUS too. Might want to clean that up for next year.
