Of course not but this guy always gives us a chance to win. Burrow too had some bad throws against the Titans and he was lucky to only have one interception but that´s the PO. It´s hard for everyone.
I already said it last week but regardless of what happened in the PO, after the Rams game, nothing but respect and love for Garoppolo.
This is what I have told folk about Garopollo. Yes his gunslinger mentality or his linebacker mindset causes him to make dumb plays every game or try to do things outside his physical limitations which leads to mistakes nearly every game but you know what? This guy will stay in the fight EVERY game! He will take that beating and rebound from his errors and never give in to defeat. This is what you want to see in a fighter. Playoff football is a fight. You have to be able to hang in there when you've lost the previous rounds because everybody is good in the tournament but I want the guy and the team that has been in big fights and that show up to brawl in every one of them and with that fighter I'll take my chances because I then know that I truly have a dog in the fight
Ya respect for Jimmy last night. He fought his ass off.
It is not the dog in the fight that matters, it is the fight in the dog that does.
I think he should get his WTF was that Jimmy play out of the way, on the first play

The thing is that Garoppolo has this gunslinger mentality even with his limitations as a thrower. So yeah, he´s gonna make some bad interceptions and turnovers. He ´s gonna do that throw in the middle of field where there´s a million guys. But he ´s not gonna check down like a Kirk Cousins or Derek Carr. Last week, and I like Derek I think he ´s a really good QB, but he didn´t try enough in my mind. Garoppolo is the opposite. And when you need that big third down conversion, he will try it. He won´t back down. That throw he made for Kittle in the first half for the first first down of the match for the Niners was gutsy as hell. The last drive of the match, he was super cool.
Listen, it´s his last season with the Niners, everybody knows it, Jimmy the first. Trey is the starter next season. But Jimmy, he won´t die in silence, he´s gonna make it the most of it.

And I love that about him and as a Niner fan I have been all in with him good or bad because this team believes in him and they are selling out their bodies in order to take this last trip with this guy. We are all red and gold so I'm not changing uniforms. Jimmy is my QB until he ain't so let's keep riding until the trip ends

Kittle and Bosa and speaking out about all the fans who are hating on Jimmy. They don't like the haters either.

A lot of you know that I've always liked JG, have always thought he was a top 10-14 player. But yesterdays performance was not okay. It wasn't all his fault, but he made quite a few throws that were almost pick 6, the pick he threw when we were in scoring range etc.
im pumped we won and glad he gets another start to show if he is good or not (for our trade value). I love the fact that we have taken down two of our biggest rivals - IN THEIR HOUSE.
jimmy is our boy for at least 60 more minutes of football this season. Let's keep it positive and let's just show support. Our boys need that energy from the fan base. They're all playing through rough injuries in rough conditions
It's darn hard to win in this league, and the playoffs extremely more so. JG may not have the athleticism of the top QBs, but he has the drive and toughness of the very best ever. The heart of a champion.

If Jimmy was a quitter with all the mistakes he makes I would be hating on him too but he ain't a quitter. Quitters don't win games like last night and this is why our players are with Jimmy. Plus Trey is learning INVALUABLE lessons in leadership this year from Jimmy. He is seeing a guy that has been given a 6 months to live prognosis and yet he is giving all he has to make sure this team wins while blocking out the worst types of noise and speculation with the spotlight on him. And his teammates are selling out their bodies to make everyone doubting him outta a liar. Sherman has left the team and has been rooting for him to win because he has heard all the negativity spewn about and around about his former QB. You can't teach this stuff on the whiteboard!

It is not always pretty with Jimmy and I agreed with the trade up for his replacement and these could be his last games as a 49ers starter. Such a frustrating player. I believe he puts a ceiling on how good our offense/team can be, but he is a tremendous leader, his teammates love him, and he has a certain mental toughness that cannot be ignored. I respect him for that.

Jimmy reminds me of Trent Dilfer - the Bucs won a Championship in spite of Dilfer.

i think if you compare him to Dilfer then you dont understand football
he makes way to many key drives to be considered a player you win in spite of

A few things, my opinion as a 49ers fan i 42 years.
1.of all, what i think is not okay, with that kind of negativ talk here in the forum about JG. is he Brady, Montana or Rogers? No, he is not. He is human and make mistakes. But he wins, right?
We had from all teams, a very very tough road, right? Rams at their home - we won, Dallas in their house - we won, and yesterday freakin green Bay. Green Bay didnt lose at home in what 8,10,12 games?
What kind of mindset does jimmy have, besides the tough games, the criticism, the negative, the mistakes. I Will tell you, a lot of other QB's would have been broken under that pressure. But not our Jimmy, and thats why i Will always stand behind my team and behind my QB.
I love my 49ers Now in 4 decades, seen a lot of ups and highs, lows and very lows (remember dinglebarry time??).
I love my team and when our coach says jimmy is our best chance, so freakin respect that.
If someone told me after week 6 we Will make it to the championship game i would have Said that would be a mirakel.... And here we are😊😊 lets go team, coaches, fans realy everyone, get behind our team, stop that negativ talk and fire up our team. Isnt that the Essence of football? We are going together those inches and yards and fight for them. Who got it better than us???
Lots of love to all my 49ers from Norway 🏈🏈🏈 lets go

Like Jimmy, Dilfer had his good Dilfer moments. They can get away with bad play because they had good defenses to make up for it.
