Still looked ugly out there, but I think the team plays better overall when he is out there. Not sure how to explain it. We always seem to win with him.

A few things, my opinion as a 49ers fan i 42 years.
1.of all, what i think is not okay, with that kind of negativ talk here in the forum about JG. is he Brady, Montana or Rogers? No, he is not. He is human and make mistakes. But he wins, right?
We had from all teams, a very very tough road, right? Rams at their home - we won, Dallas in their house - we won, and yesterday freakin green Bay. Green Bay didnt lose at home in what 8,10,12 games?
What kind of mindset does jimmy have, besides the tough games, the criticism, the negative, the mistakes. I Will tell you, a lot of other QB's would have been broken under that pressure. But not our Jimmy, and thats why i Will always stand behind my team and behind my QB.
I love my 49ers Now in 4 decades, seen a lot of ups and highs, lows and very lows (remember dinglebarry time??).
I love my team and when our coach says jimmy is our best chance, so freakin respect that.
If someone told me after week 6 we Will make it to the championship game i would have Said that would be a mirakel.... And here we are😊😊 lets go team, coaches, fans realy everyone, get behind our team, stop that negativ talk and fire up our team. Isnt that the Essence of football? We are going together those inches and yards and fight for them. Who got it better than us???
Lots of love to all my 49ers from Norway 🏈🏈🏈 lets go
hey man
Welcome!
whats the rime difference? hopefully you got some sleep
Game was finished at 5.20 this morning, slept 3 hours. And you know what, that doesnt matter at all🏈🏈🏈 i love my team and if i have to stay up all night without sleep, i Will always do that.
We fight together for those yards, No matter what. Go niners, forever 🏈🏈🏈

Yeah, non the less - I think we can win a Super Bowl with Jimmy.
I agree with this after tonight. Look, in 2019 we made it all the way to the SB because or our D and Jimmy making plays when it counted. Yes he makes his mistakes but at some point in the game he makes up for them. Alot of credit goes to the D (and Ryans) though for busting their asses and only limiting the opponents. I mean, Dallas/LA/Green Bay, who da hell thought we'd limit their scoring offenses just enough to win these games. Too be honest after the TEN loss, I had some doubts we'd even beat the Rams in week 18, but was I proven wrong.
For all the negativity Jimmy gets, he makes mistakes but he wins. I have no doubt we can win a SB this year with him. Next year when Trey starts and he has his ups and downs, and maybe we don't even smell the playoffs, a bunch of you will be wondering if Jimmy had stayed and Lance sat another year. I'm leaving it to Shanny to decide when Lance is ready and he doesn't appear to think he's ready. Can an off-season get him ready? Who knows.

A lot of bad takes here, but I'm not surprised. We know who Jimmy is throwing the football... he's excellent between the numbers, but when forced to look outside or play off schedule, he usually makes two or three "WTF?!" throws a game. What I wasn't convinced of was his toughness. He proved that to the entire world last night. He's got some serious balls, playing in those conditions, under duress for most of the game with a s**tty thumb and putting together a game winning drive says everything.
Can we stop nitpicking playoff performances and just be happy with the win?

You'd think. Too many agendas and fans acting like they still don't know who he is.
I'm most proud of the entire team. Jimmy is simply part of it, good and bad.

Agree. Jimmy's elite when it comes to winning football games.

He doesn't give in nor does he relent and the team follows suit. That is that leadership intangible we keep talking about. I am pumped that Trey is soaking this all in as a rookie

Jimmys a great QB!!! I love the wins! At the same time he's teaching Trey about winning with great Attitude. What a great character too! He could have done an Aaron Rodgers on Trey when the rookie was drafted. Jimmy has a lot to do with the good, and its mostly good when he's healthy and being a 49er QB. Very little bad, in my opinion. Those folks who focus on perfecrion and want perfection in Jimmy just miss the fact that he's pretty darn perfect in winning games!

This. Just a terrible comparison.
Like Jimmy, Dilfer had his good Dilfer moments. They can get away with bad play because they had good defenses to make up for it.
Yeah, they both had similar teams around them. Jimmy makes more plays and mistakes than Dilfer. In this run, Jimmy and team has been able to overcome the mistakes.

Thankfully we have great defense. Jimmy has 6 INTs and 2 TDs in his last 4 games. No TDs in the playoffs. Part of that might be his injuries but the poor choices of where to throw aren't. I don't expect him to throw for 300 yards with that thumb and shoulder but he needs to avoid the turnovers. Eventually it's going to cost this team. They aren't always going to be able to overcome those mistakes.

Big time winner in the regular season.
WZ keeps complaining.
2TDS... 5INTS in those games.
How about this.
In those 4 wins... he has 1TD and 3INTs.
Playoff football is tough. Ratings go down. Teams are top notch no scrubs to pad your stats. Tannehill threw 3 picks today. Burrow was sacked 9 times. Rodgers had zero TDs. I could give a flying f right now about individual stats. The eye test tells me JG played great. One ball he would like to have back but it was the right read just got it out a second late due to having to elude the pressure. Lots of drops and penalties stole some of our offensive thunder and the elements played a big role.
Yep. The only teams left all have great defenses.
There were a number of drops in the first quarter. The Packers were wreaking havoc on our offensive line too. I'm not surprised we struggled. Thankfully defense and special teams stepped up.
And when we had the game tied, 10-10, less than two minutes to play. A chance to win in a game we never had a lead in… Jimmy completed some very poised throws to Kittle and Deebo that got us into scoring range, and then Deebo and Gould finished things off.
It's not always pretty, but Jimmy's doing his part.
People forgetting we traveled what, 5 out of the last 6 weeks, short week to Green Bay, packers rested, conditions were slightly cold for the game..
Yet we won!!
Doesn't this morning feel a hell of a lot better then the alternative!!??
I'm jacked!!
