Jimmy G, you´re a tough son of b***h good lord. The Packers D-Line was outstanding most of the game and yet that damn Garoppolo kept fighting. Was he great? Of course not but this guy always gives us a chance to win. Burrow too had some bad throws against the Titans and he was lucky to only have one interception but that´s the PO. It´s hard for everyone.
I already said it last week but regardless of what happened in the PO, after the Rams game, nothing but respect and love for Garoppolo.

This is what I have told folk about Garopollo. Yes his gunslinger mentality or his linebacker mindset causes him to make dumb plays every game or try to do things outside his physical limitations which leads to mistakes nearly every game but you know what? This guy will stay in the fight EVERY game! He will take that beating and rebound from his errors and never give in to defeat. This is what you want to see in a fighter. Playoff football is a fight. You have to be able to hang in there when you've lost the previous rounds because everybody is good in the tournament but I want the guy and the team that has been in big fights and that show up to brawl in every one of them and with that fighter I'll take my chances because I then know that I truly have a dog in the fight

The thing is that Garoppolo has this gunslinger mentality even with his limitations as a thrower. So yeah, he´s gonna make some bad interceptions and turnovers. He ´s gonna do that throw in the middle of field where there´s a million guys. But he ´s not gonna check down like a Kirk Cousins or Derek Carr. Last week, and I like Derek I think he ´s a really good QB, but he didn´t try enough in my mind. Garoppolo is the opposite. And when you need that big third down conversion, he will try it. He won´t back down. That throw he made for Kittle in the first half for the first first down of the match for the Niners was gutsy as hell. The last drive of the match, he was super cool.
Listen, it´s his last season with the Niners, everybody knows it, Jimmy the first. Trey is the starter next season. But Jimmy, he won´t die in silence, he´s gonna make it the most of it.

Agree with all of this. Dude is like Rocky lol.

That was so freaking awesome! It's easy to see why teammates gravitate towards him

He grew up in Chicago so that may explain why he said that. "f**k the Packers!"
Indeed.

Ever seen MJ's documentary? The most successful athletes carry an "us against the world" attitude. Fuels them.

Doesn't really mean anything one way or another. Lying to themselves is good for them.

We don't play so there's no reason for us to lie to ourselves though.

Thankfully we have great defense. Jimmy has 6 INTs and 2 TDs in his last 4 games. No TDs in the playoffs. Part of that might be his injuries but the poor choices of where to throw aren't. I don't expect him to throw for 300 yards with that thumb and shoulder but he needs to avoid the turnovers. Eventually it's going to cost this team. They aren't always going to be able to overcome those mistakes.

i mean Kittle dropped like what was going to be a 40 yard or so TD run and catch

i wouldnt get too bogged down in stats in those conditions

Exactly, but the counter is Aaron Rodgers made plays, so conditions shouldn't matter.

And also, it could have been 2 TD if Trent and Elijah didn´t make their mistakes in the endzone. That Facemask by Elijah was so stupid. He had the first down already. And that´ s ok, it´ s a team sports. Kittle made a bad bad drop in the first half that could have been a TD. But on the last drive, he had this great first down. So yeah, Jimmy isn´ t great at the end of the day but that doesn´t mean the Niners as a team can´t fight to win the Superbowl.

He was discussing his last 4 games. Never going to jump to conclusions due to one game,....but there's clearly a pattern here.

Because first thing in the morning after another iconic Niners win, that leaves us as one of four teams left, and you're finding a way to denigrate Jimmy. And basically saying that Boss and Kittle are full of s**t.

It's sad that you and the other haters are letting your dislike of Jimmy's ability and style of play affect your emotions for this team as a whole. You're totally missing the ride.
