For me it is clear that the 49ers have a lot of room for improvement at this position, regardless of how far they go in the playoffs, and it's important they perform their due diligence.

Oh hi, random.

Doesn't it feel great to wake up after a win like this!

Tough one next week, gotta long flight back to CA And if we play Tampa that's a long flight over to Florida.

Kurt Warner just said it on NFL game day morning that the key to winning these dog fights are you have to weather the storm, keep your emotions in check during the highs and lows & just stay calm, and that's what it seems Jimmy does, which I believe helps the whole team stay calm.

When you're looking defeated like AAAaron Rodgers looks on the sidelines at times, I guarantee you his team feeds off that.

Also, shout out to the Refs who I thought called a damn good even game.
(I didn't like Eli's penalty lol)

If it's in Tampa I'll be there.

Oh great don't forget to social distance ALL 49er fans please!!!! I'm not talking about catching Covid either. I just don't want everyone hearing you complain about Jimmy.

He won against Dallas. He didn't choke.
The previous week, Jimmy was clutch at the end of the Rams game and Stafford choked.

So if you make horrid mistakes as a game ends but your team wins, it doesn't count as choking?

Yes

Why does this bother you and do you have a counter argument?

Haha the flip flopping I enjoy. Doesn't bother me at all and I already told you so.

Narrowing down these definitions for what is and what isin't clutch is pretty damn entertaining, but not as much as your avoidance of it for a full week.

I never knew that choking required losing. If your teammates bail you out of bad play I've always seen people still label them as having choked.

New standards every week.

How did my standards change?

Why not just tell us all why you think Jimmy wasn't clutch at the end of Rams game or why you think he choked the Cowboys game away?

Imagine having Tannehill. Dude threw 3 picks. Including the 1st play of the game. Lost the 1st game at home as the #1 seed. Do you see him playing in Super Bowl's?

Jimmy G is nowhere near as bad as you guys claim. I'd much rather have him than Tannehill.

The truth is, between posters like random and NYNiner, we have a segment of our fanbase that would rather lose to be "right" than to win and be "wrong". It's the same thing with Alex v. Kaep. But facts are facts, and facts don't care about your feelings: Our QB, in 2 seasons when he has played the majority of the games, has taken us to 2 NFC Championships.
Personally I'm happy with where the niners are. They weren't suppose to get this far. Its all gravy from here.

If jimmy continues his stellar play next game, oh well. He's not gonna be here next year. We have a helluva team!

You still on that? And they say it's me.

Running full speed and torqueing your body back around enough is alot easier on a couch eating potato chips than being a world class 250+ lb athlete and doing so in a live game.

Just saying. Angle talk is I know not for everyone,...but Jeepy is an engineer and knows what I'm saying whether he'll admit it or not,...lol.

If his hands get there in time it's a great "shoulder pad" grab running full speed.

Lead him a little bit more and it's an easy catch.

Yet Jimmy keeps beating this group

Did they say that about Mahomes too? He was playing behind Alex and Jimmy is a better WB than Alex ever was
