Your analogy needs a little fine tuning.

He will eventually get drilled by a bicycle, get right back up and eventually get across the street.

Dunno,...he's kinda injury prone.

This is a forum for people who love the 49ers.

Leadership and inspiration are factors in winning at football.

You can love the team and dislike a player. It's not illegal

Agree, I was just explaining where Love fits into a Fan Forum.

Cool story bro. But all you care about is the win anyway,....so no idea why this gets repeated (and agreed with) ad nauseum.

I mean is this a football forum or a LOVE forum?

Still waiting for a response on how hos former teammates ripping jimmy isn't relevant….

It almost isn't. If you're going to hold that over him because according to Martellus Bennett he wouldn't play hurt when he's missed one game with a partially torn thumb ligament as he lead the team into the playoffs and to the NFC Championship Game then it's not fake news but it's certainly old news.

Bennett and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Personally I believe Tom Brady is one of the biggest douchebags and cry babies in NFL history who threw teammates under the bus his last year in New England. That's also an opinion.

Why would any of his current teammates say anything remotely negative rn. The truth comes out down the line

Leadership, inspiration, love, admiration. Great. Just asking how much we going to recycle this stuff before we talk about what we're really here for?

You don't have to participate.

LOL at you getting tired of a topic after creating dozens of posts to try to show Kittle's meaningless drop was Jimmy's fault.

I am here to talk about Jimmy G and this awesome playoff run. What are you here for?

Horrible analogy.

You keep predicting failure and getting proven wrong.

Join the 49erFaithful and enjoy this epic run.

U do know Jimmy could fail while the team succeeds right? That's basically what's happening. Sill waiting on that response btw. The one where Jimmy's former teammates tell it like it is.

No, success is measured by the final result.

I didn't watch that irrelevant Bennet video.

Every NFL player is "kinda injury prone." It's a matter of degree and if playable, as Jimmy said, pain tolerance.

Deebo is limping at some point almost every game. Kittle gets banged up. Williams is hurt right now. Warner is hurt.

Obviously Jimmy is unfortunately the guy who's missed more or less two seasons to injury. Bosa has already missed one and missed most of his last season at Ohio State.

I'm sure you're being a bit tongue-in-cheek. But it's the reality of football too.
Here's a question if you were passing out game balls for last weeks performance how far down the line would jimmy be?? He gets credit for being a winner but I can count about 20-24 players that played better.

If they were heaping praise on him I sure it would be relevant ….

Okay- thank you for ignoring the point. Bennett's point was he wouldn't play with an injury. He now has played 3 out of the 4 games the 49ers have played in since sustaining an injury that will probably require surgery in the offseason. Therefore, Bennett's point is, as I said, "old news".

Why is Richard Sherman, a guy we once went out of our way to hate, and now a Buccaneer, or was a Buccaneer, going out of his way to praise Jimmy G. I mean, not a current teammate and the truth comes out down the line, right?

Or maybe you can just stick with the admitted fact that you dislike Jimmy as a player (your right) and just admit that you won't accept that either you don't have a point or no answer given will be good enough to prove you "wrong".

JG already got his game ball in the Bear game

Huh? So I respond to Cortez and Ride,....then you respond to me,....then I don't have to participate?

Bennett and the mccorty bros didn't have a problem doing it

Dont know the story,....but the called out teammates they just had a yr or so prior and their podcasts/radio host careers still went successfully?

Because for us the main two reference points people are using under the "former players" umbrella is Staley and Sherman.

LOL

Dude is beloved by his teammates and is a leader of men who inspires teammates to be their best. This has been obvious since he got here to those paying attention.

My point was it's been stated all his teammates love him. When in fact they don't. That's the point. How many ravens players s**t on Trent dilfer during their Super Bowl run?

aside from the useless fighting in this thread, is there any update on the shoulder? We know the hand is gonna stay damaged but hopefully the shoulder is good to go by now, that's gotta be a reason for the lack of zip on some of those dump off passes
