hold on a sec, gonna load a bunch of mahomes and allen gifs to show you what a perfect pass is
that was a great pass and it was dropped. Is the blame going to go 100% on Jimmy or 100% on Jauan? Lets see what the Webbers come up with after about a hundred pages or so of Gifts on it.

So good

Give me the TLDR version I can't watch right now
Guy 1 : Jimmy sucks !
Guy 2 : no, you !

That wasn't it at all.

Jennings would have had to fully straighten his arms will running full speed. Do you know how hard that is to do?

The throw was made before he broke out of his route, but he turned his head and the ball was 10 yards away. Jennings should have gotten his hands up.

Evidence of Jimmy's talent and skill.

Honestly, people have gone back and forth on Jimmy so much and I feel people waste time arguing whether or not he's a good QB. It's not so much a question of his ability, but his consistency (and availability). When he's at his best, Jimmy plays with a lightning fast release, great accuracy, and excellent timing. When he's at his worst, he makes questionable decisions and can be fooled.

To me... it's always been a question of whether we'll get Jimmy playing well, or not playing well.
Trent, Kittle, Jennings, Ward and now Warner, all of them love Jimmy G., and according to all of them, he is doing exactly what he's supposed to do. When you keep winning most of the time, and at critical times (playoffs), the whole team respects you. Nothing surprising, it's after all a team game and a business.

If Kyle is the reason we are winning so far, and he feels Jimmy G. is the right QB (given the current conditions), so be it. I really hope, for both the 49ers and Jimmy G., we get a SB win this year.
Nfccg first, tough one by all standards, we can/should forget the regular season record for all practical purposes.

I think the shoulder is getting healthy and not really an issue now, the thumb still is though. My *hope* is that - because he's not re-injured it, that maybe some sort of healing has happened. But doubt it. Since the injury, that thumb hasn't had much rest and for all I know he's been hit repeatedly on it, since then just because he's the QB. (I don't know that for a fact) point being, that thumb will be a issue for Jimmy for the rest of the season and unlikely it will get better any time soon.

I don't have a link right now but I do recall the thumb ligament is torn and will require surgery to re-attach it fully. After the initial swelling goes down, the pain subsides somewhat but you cannot exert full pressure with the thumb until the ligament is 100% again.

Wonder if they could do that surgery after Sunday but before the SB? Probably asking too much here

Agree about it partially torn, but from what I gather, it can heal if you leave it alone for a while. That week when Trey took over, apparently it healed *enough* (apparently the ligament can re-attach) to where Jimmy can play with the pain. But you are right - I believe surgery is an *option* to fix the injury, but I'm pretty sure he'll opt for 2nd and 3rd options after the season is over and see what his options are - and if I was Jimmy, I would try to avoid as much as possible going under the knife. For now, Kyle says he's fine with Jimmy throwing with that injured thumb - however Jimmy's not really been lights out statistically the past couple of weeks, but I trust Kyle.

IIRC, it will take 8-10 weeks for the re-attachment point to be fully knit.

EDIT: It can heal a bit on its own. The question is whether or not the resulting alignment would yield maximum effectiveness. Two or three weeks of constant use is likely not allowing it to heal very much on its own. That is just my own experience with ligament issues in players I have coached over the years.

Big time throw in face face of pressure. He knew he was going to take a big hit and just stood there like a "statue" to give his team a chance. Too bad it was dropped. Jennings will make up for it against he Rams.

This is exactly how I picture him every time I read his posts. If that isn't trolling I don't know what is

Oh mam, prepare for dozens of posts telling us all how Kyle doesn't know what he is talking about and that was a poor throw and not a drop.
