Except of course when they're not. You don't need to look any further than this thread to be aware of that BS hypocrisy. The TEAM wins but it's Jimmy who loses. You guys can't keep having it both ways.

Then why not the same amount of wins *like* Jimmy if Hoyer, Beathard, and Mullens are playing QB. Can't have it both ways now.

Why is Jared Goff losing so much now, and Matt Stafford is winning so much?

Why did the 49ers win on Saturday and why did the 49ers win.

Their last two drives are a big reason.

Great defense, STs touchdown, clutch last minute drive.
My point with the question I asked, which you failed to answer, is that did Goff suddenly forget how to be a winning QB?

It would be absurd to say that a qb winning is all because of the qb. Joe Montana played with HOF guys on both sides of the ball, same with Steve.

Dan Marino was unbelievable and never had a great team around him. Trent Dilfer was a backup quality qb on an unbelievable team.

The thing is, though, Dilfer never had a winning % anywhere close to Jimmy. Marino never had a team like Jimmy has.

But for people to act like he's the problem, not part of a solution(which we're still winning, so we've got a solution right now) is weird.

Doesn't make sense, at this point.

You'd have to believe that Kyle and John are the greatest HC and GM duo that has ever existed in the history of football to win like they have with Jimmy, to do it in spite of him.

I have criticized Jimmy for being a limited QB in terms of ability, but I won't doubt his ability to sack up and play well in high pressure situations. He is a part of the winning recipe that the 49ers have, but he is not the main ingredient. I don't think anyone is saying he is, just putting my opinion out there.

For me, and this is the point Slay and Sherman have made. Is Jimmy Mahomes? No. Is he winning like Mahomes? No.

But we won 3 straight road games in win or go home situations. So why in the world are people complaining so incredibly loudly?

Would you really rather be a Bills fan right now? Great qb play and watching other teams play to go to the SB?

I don't get what we're complaining about. Thought the point was to win.

As fans that look at the low level details of a game, you and I know that winning requires details. And whether the 49ers win or lose, you and I look at the whys and hows. STs could have really hurt the 49ers in the DAL game, but to dismiss STs as a weakness and just proclaim, "49ers won so why are we complaining" is a bit simplistic. I think this current playoff run has further fueled the Jimmy talk because he has very weak numbers, except for the all important Win column. But if you look beyond the Win column, there is a lot to talk about regarding Jimmy's play.

Not one f**king bit. It's not fantasy football. We're winning. Jimmy is making great, clutch throws when we need them. It's a team sport, not QB vs. QB.

I also absolutely LOVE the personality of this team. Blue collar. Tough. Resilient. Underdog mentality. Jimmy is a big part of that.

Sadly, you and the other Jimmy haters are missing out on something really special.

Look Jimmy is playing a part in the wins and a part in the losses. It's never all one thing. To argue a QB is great solely based on wins is insane. It's equally insane to grade down Stafford solely because of the losses. Same with coaches. There is so much context there.

I am not criticizing Warner right now for his play.
Praising Jimmy has a winner or praising his GW drive to defeat GB and advance to the NFCC anything is absolutely or a sole reason for something.

Claiming Jimmy is the sole reason this team wins is silly.

in his 2 healthy seasons with the 49ers he made the NFCCG twice

clearly hes doing something right. Also its clear his injuries is affecting his play
