I wasn't bitter at all, I just said I didn't think he did a ton on that last drive. I thought Deebo was the driving force to get them there. Difference of opinions that's it. I don't hate anyone that thinks Jimmy's the main reason we're here…I disagree little and that shouldn't make me some massive a*****e that hate's Jimmy.

Having spent far too many hours watching this thread, that is clearly what is happening most of the time. It is more about arguing than discussing football.

And yet, it's only the people who are really high on Jimmy that tell others they're not real fans. Why is that?

That's what is stagnating the football side of this discussion.

Debate the logic instead of condescendingly labeling people and pretending you're more of a true fan.

Some people enjoy "nit picking" players whether it be the offseason or right after gaining a Super Bowl birth. That's one of the main functions of a forum about football,...details. It may not be why you now stay, but it's damn near certainly why you came to begin with.

If you are anti-detail then you are pretty much anti-sports forums because that's exactly what you are going to find when you go onto an active one.

It's not reasonable to expect those that "nit pick" and consume the nit picking to suddenly stop once a team makes it to the playoffs. Attention to detail is not going to just suddenly disappear. I think that would explain it for you.

Dude its gotten to be too much, and I'm not playing victim either. I'm a part of all of it…I got one poster who shall not be named DMing me telling me if I get banned hopefully I don't do something bad because he knows this is my whole life (which it most certainly is not) and I should see a counselor. Are you..serious? You think Jimmy should do that? The team needs him to be a confident baller right now. And that's one of the reasons so many of them have come out swinging for him, they like him the way he is. Why and how would it help that he make a press event out of people trying to dog him for their own ratings? He has such massive support from his teammates that they obviously do respect him so he doesn't need to consistently come out publicly and thank them, he clearly does it enough and is a strong leader that they are out defending him in the first place.
If anything, all this noise from the outside is bringing the team closer together, they seem very tight.

Just for context, since I watched this presser this morning. He was asked what he thinks of all the talk on social media - they admitted he might not see it all and that some players turn off social media but that he probably hears about it from friends and family - he acknowledged, "yeah, they tell me about it a little and some things they've seen and whatever" Then said this.
