Jimmy G played a lot better when healthy (no thumb and shoulder injury) the shoulder injury affected him more imo (2nd half of cowboys game on) i think he will play well enough to beat the rams and chiefs now

David is out of his mind if he thinks the expectations of the media behind the criticism of Jimmy was that it would somehow disrupt the 49ers locker room. The expectation was that it would generate views and clicks and fill airtime, which is true for all sports media, and for that purpose it has been extremely successful.

Lol pretty much. We all know who Jimmy is by now so it's kinda crazy how emotional some here have gotten over whatever's been said on the airwaves about him this week,....though I shouldn't be surprised.

The point is that the players are emotional about it and are fired up to defend their leader.

I hope for the revenge tour more than anything but a lot of folks quick to dismiss Mahomes as it's a team sport. Well that it is but when your team has an elite QB who can score in under 20 seconds your "team" chances greatly improve.

I will support Jimmy these last two games no doubt but in my heart I firmly believe the ultimate prize won't come until a switch is made at QB.

That being said, I'd love more than anything to see him ride off into the sunset hosting a trophy in his hands. We will see.

I don't know that those injuries hurt him that much. It looked like he was completing the same throws he usually does. He may have felt pain but he was able to play through it. This team doesn't win or lose on his arm. It's all about the running game, short passes and defense. It's the same script they followed in 2019. As long as all thos ethings are working this team can beat anyone. If one of them breaks down then we have a problem.

I was watching one of many commercials with Mahomes the other day and started wondering why we aren't seeing any Jimmy G commercials. We see Mahomes, Rodgers, Wilson, Murray, Mayfield and probably someone I'm leaving out. Yet here's Jimmy, one of the most photogenic QBs the league has and he's not getting any commercials. Does he hav ea bad agent Maybe he doesn't want to do any but I can't imagine why. They pay well. I understand that Mahomes and Brady have been more successful and have a higher profile but Jimmy has won more than Mayfield and Murray.
