We see Mahomes, Rodgers, Wilson, Murray, Mayfield and probably someone I'm leaving out. Yet here's Jimmy, one of the most photogenic QBs the league has and he's not getting any commercials. Does he hav ea bad agent Maybe he doesn't want to do any but I can't imagine why. They pay well. I understand that Mahomes and Brady have been more successful and have a higher profile but Jimmy has won more than Mayfield and Murray.

Very good point. Has a good personality too........would easily be better at these commercials than all of those stiffs.

Imagine Jimmy wanted a Hollywood career after this and was told "sorry, you're too good looking".

Man the hate against him is real. Probably couldn't get a Disney World commercial if he won it all....

So if JG does net us a Super Bowl this year, would our QB rankings go as:

1. Joe Montana
2. Steve Young
3. Jimmy Garoppolo

If Jimmy goes to the superbowl and wins, and gets the mvp? Of course. Who else would be there? Garcia?

Those things are worked out by the managers so that's why I asked about him. Maybe his manager isn't well connected. I'm certainly nt hs biggest fan but I still don't understand not getting him endorsements.

Troy Smith will finally lose his hold on the #3 spot

John Brodie would still be #3. He played for the Nienrs much longer and got hem into the championship game against the Cowboys twice plus another playoff against them. he also was the league MVP once and made all pro and the pro bowl.

What do you mean by that?

It wasn't so much what she said as the way she said it. Her take wasn't that different from a lot of what the talking head class have been saying. The issue was that she delivered it in such a smug, smarmy, condescending fashion that I was kind of surprised that the two former players who were at the table with her didn't call her out on it. I mean I have never played any sport beyond the high school level but even I was really taken aback by her attitude which I imagine is what triggered Garcia's response, which was very much along the lines of what I was thinking when I heard her say it. How many professional games of any sort has she played? Has she ever had to try and throw a football 20 yards down the field with a torn ligament in her thumb and a sprained shoulder in weather that was near 0 degrees? Has she ever been involved in any kind of one and done situation where you are trying to help your team win a game and your chances for success are dwindling? I have watched a couple of reaction to the reaction videos and to my mind they are all missing the point, just as she missed the point when she responded to Garcia's criticism. It wasn't what she said it was the dismissive way in which she framed it and the snarky, smirking grin on her face as she was talking. Made me want to smack her..

That's f**kin pathetic man straight up

No.

She needs discipline.

Probably in the bedroom.

I could only imagine being married to that, the horror.

Because even his own fan base won't fully embrace him as a face of the franchise so national audiences won't either as far as having the credibility to push product.

This message board alone is torn about the guy yet we're in the NFCCG again

That's true except Mayfield is just as controversial in Cleveland. Murray isn't exactly a national household name. Maybe Jimmy needs a new agent.

Jimmy G played a lot better when healthy (no thumb and shoulder injury) the shoulder injury affected him more imo (2nd half of cowboys game on) i think he will play well enough to beat the rams and chiefs now

I don't know that those injuries hurt him that much. It looked like he was completing the same throws he usually does. He may have felt pain but he was able to play through it. This team doesn't win or lose on his arm. It's all about the running game, short passes and defense. It's the same script they followed in 2019. As long as all thos ethings are working this team can beat anyone. If one of them breaks down then we have a problem.

Huh? Jimmy said the INT against Dallas came out of his hand funny and if you watch it, you can see that. I think the issue is by the 2nd half, his strength seems to wane and when he tries to throw on the run, the accuracy and lack of strength really shows.

Now, if you're talking about decision making, I'm with you. He shouldn't even be attempting those (Sherfield and Kittle) knowing his physical limitations esp. later in the game. Stay in the pocket and drive forward.

This game, he once again, needs to make better decisions KNOWING his full limitations now esp. late in the game.
2 sleep! Comon good Jimmy, show up!

Actually after finally watching the segment, such a stupid and lazy take and a s**tty meme media take. it's rude and disrespectful.

LFG Jimmy!!

If she wanted to be accurate, she'd say, "Jimmy is the kind of guy who shows up late to the project, does a bit here and there, mostly socially, and then, the night before it's due, stays up all night and makes sure the team gets an A on the team project."
