greg cosell has said the same thing
HE IS A DANGEROUS GAME MANAGER THATS ALONG FOR THE RIDE

wholly untrue, he is a reason for the 49ers success. his wins show it and the advanced stats show it.

100%, the bold.

Looking forward to seeing JG and the team take on this next challenge vs. the Rams.

I want to see him outperform Matt Stafford!

Jimmy is not a game manager, he's a game MANager.

Hell YEAH!!!!
Man or woman, espn has a bunch of jokers (mostly) who provide low entertainment value. They have the right to put out whatever opinions they like, we have the right to say its crap. It's just a sport, and more importantly, life goes on.

I hope Jimmy G. plays well, that means the 49ers are going to the SB. Is he elite, is he a top 15, or top 20, at this point in the season, do we really care. The game is not until Sunday, and so the so-called analysts have to talk about something, so they make up stuff = entertainment

Change the channel is the simple solution, works all the time

I beg to differ! This is more apt:

Those things are worked out by the managers so that's why I asked about him. Maybe his manager isn't well connected. I'm certainly nt hs biggest fan but I still don't understand not getting him endorsements.

Actually he's very introverted and very blah at the podium. And NO that is not hate but it is fact the dude has an introverted personality. Kittle or Staley he is not. Thus why Kittle is more in the spotlight for endorsements.

He has the looks but too quiet shy for mainstream.

Yes it's OK the 1st time. Yes it's OK the 10th time. But it's like beating a dead horse. We get it. People think Jimmy is limited, he makes mental errors, and the team can upgrade the position. Thats why Trey is here. But he's not ready, or Kyle thinks he's not ready, or he thinks Jimmy gives the team the best chance to win right now. So here we are, in the nfc championship game with Jimmy. Trey isn't coming in.

So why oh why is this still being brought up and talked about over and over and over again? There's a time and a place for it. It's the offseason. Bashing or simply criticizing Jimmy before the championship game isnt accomplishing anything except pushing not only fans buttons, but players buttons as well.

It's no different then defending the QB regardless of everything…that's beating the dead horse all the same. All I'm saying is this s**t is some crappy circle of trash. It goes on and on and there's no resolution…it's gotten so toxic in here that it's not even about football in the slightest, it's just name calling and hatred between fans. I'm all done with that. I'll talk football though

Your gonna start doing that now as of today??
That would be great because for two days you backed Mina's view & told everyone that David Lombardi was a total jimmy homer and bias of his views in the video that was posted..
lol

Just saying, Dilfer was a leader and had 100% support from his teammates. Replacing him with QBs who can put up better stats killed that team until they cheated their way to another SB.

Big difference here is that THIS season Trey was selected with MAJOR draft capital spent and it is already known that he is the future prior to us even playing the first game. Jimmy knew it Trey knew it the coaches knew it the players know it and the front office knows this

There will be no fractures once Jimmy is gone because it won't be a surprise to anyone

We played this just right slowing Jimmy to have his last dance with the guys and they're playing their asses off for him. Trey is learning how to be a leader be well liked gain the teams respect how to bounce back from adversity how to prepare and how to win while dealing with criticism from Jimmy

You can't get what Trey is getting from a textbook and this is EXACTLY what our coaches and Lynch envisioned in keeping Jimmy

I knew when we drafted Trey Jimmy would be retained unless another club blew us away with a very lucrative trade

Jimmy: Beast Leader!!
If Jimmy were to win the super bowl he's so damn humble and gracious he wouldn't even think of telling his doubters to kiss it.
He'd credit his team for everything then go to sleep with a smile on his face.

I really want that for him, for all the good he's brought to the team.
Go Jimmy.
Go Niners.
