This is an ugly thread, that's for sure ... I wish there were more posts about Jimmy, not stats but his life in California. Usually there's somebody with some inside information. It's an ugly situation and it's going to get worse, I just heard about Deebo removing himself from the Niners media. That surprised me because it's bad behavior, and I thought he was a better guy than to act up.

Good for Deebo. I mean that sincerely. I think it would be in the best interest for all pro athletes to stay off social media.

Wasn't this started by Grant Cohn searching through who he followed?

Just cut this guy already and give Deebo his 4 yr 110 million contract and Bosa his 5 year 150 million contract already and let's go, no more worries, Paraag work your magic, back end the contracts and then go sign Turay, and Nelson or Callahan. Go in the draft with bpa with a trade up from 61 then S, OL, and WR.

Well, she was an unfortunate choice ... are there others? When Jimmy was in New England he was making out with college girls with long flowing hair. I think Jimmy likes long hair, that's why he made that pass on Erin (the pretty reporter with blond hair.) I would much rather read about his women than read the insults that the people in here throw at each other.

That wouldn't surprise me, but Pat McAfee talked about it today and his point was that the players are making these moves to send out a signal that they are not happy.

I wish it were that simple but it is not. They need all of that money left on Jimmy's contract. They would be paying him $7.5 million if they cut him before he clears a medical exam. Which is not likely to occur until late July because of Jimmy's recent shoulder surgery.

I like the fact that Deebo maybe forcing the FO's hand. The FO needs to make a decision. Is it him or Jimmy that they feel is more important to the team.

This is what we have been debating over the past week. There are some who believe that Jimmy will be the QB1 again this season because they are under the assumption that Trey isn't ready because they didn't name a starter in April. Technically, anything is possible as long as Jimmy is still here. Do I believe it? No. But that is beside the point.

As for your response to my post. When a player begins distancing themself from the team, it is never a good sign. It was more than just unfollowing. He deleted every pic on his social media that shown him in 49ers gear.
