If you really believe Jimmy has anything to do with Deebos contract negotiations lol

Umm do you understand salary cap at all? Lynch literally said the plan is for Deebo to have a new contract this offseason. Can't happen with Jimmy still on the books bc we don't have enough money. 🤡

I understand this idea but wouldn't it be wise to try to offset some of the money by adding more to Deebo's 2022 cap hit? How is Jimmy's contract not preventing that specifically.

Nah bro it's about who actually takes the time to watch film before forming opinions and who doesn't.

No it isn't. The dude who I replied to certainly doesn't watch film and discuss the nuances of it.
Johnnydel is the only one who we see breaking down film here and he is one you would call a they.

Anyone who claimed Jimmy and Stafford are the same, except Jimmy is a winner and Stafford is a loser, DID NOT watch any film on Stafford.

As for johnnydel, breaking down film and posting it on YouTube is not the same thing as watching film. It's more than watching film. What that means is that means he has a pursuit of becoming a YouTuber and takes the excruciating time to make those videos AFTER watching the film. That doesn't mean he's the only one that watches film or knows the game to some degree.
He, however, as far as I can recall, wasn't even involved in the Stafford thread. I imagine if he was, he would have not been spectacularly wrong like some of you guys were, because, as you said, he watches film.

Stafford and jimmy shouldn't even be uttered in the same sentence🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 one is a Super Bowl champ with actual arm talent. The other is a back up qb.
Stafford >>>>>>>>>>>>>>Crapolo

That sounds more like an ideal scenario instead of the either or situation many fans are presenting. What you're suggesting would seem smart, but I'm not confident enough in my understanding of all things salary cap to offer a worthwhile opinion on it. There's obviously a variety of ways to maneuver salaries to fit under the cap now and into the future, and we see countless examples of it across the NFL every season.

What does bother me is that it's convenient for the 49ers FO to have fans blaming out of favor players for a lack of aggressive movement either in FA, or in-house extensions.

It's still early in the off-season. There is plenty of time to get the deal done. FO can cut Jimmy once he is healed, and clear up cap space. It's not like Jimmy's 25m is gtd and prevents them from using it on Deebo. Maybe FO and Deebo can agree to terms but not officially sign it at a later date when it's more convenient cap wise (like after Jimmy is cut)

A deal will get done, it's still early.

I just want to say f**k Stafford and f**k the Rams. If you guys want to rub one out to him, then you can go here

https://www.49erswebzone.com/forum/nfl/184984-super-bowl-champions-los-angeles-rams-thread/

It's not rubbing one out to Stafford. It's more like this:

Kyle = guys here who think Jimmy is Jesus.
Us = Cartman

it's rubbing one out to Stafford. He's a Ram. Let's move on already. Or go to the proper thread to do this

Again, f**k Stafford and f**k the Rams!
Wrong again. It's mocking people who arrogantly mocked you.

No, Lombardi is just pointing out that it's possible to extend Deebo without drastically improving his 2022 salary. That doesn't mean it can't be done, and it's quite possible Deebo wants that done.

Just because it's possible to extend Deebo without dramatically increasing his 2022 salary doesn't mean it's possible to do that AND make Deebo happy.

That would mean making him happy hurts the team. He doesn't seem like that guy. I don't see why he would want that.

I feel like the overwhelming majority of NFL players take the attitude that NFL teams are owned by billionaires, and they can find a way to make it work so pay me my damned money. It's usually only the ones that have already gotten theirs that take the team discount.

Well that's on Deebo. The 🤡 was wrong. Deebo is still on contract, and he could still be extended unlike 🤡 said. Pretty basic and admittedly I'm not even very bright with salary cap.
