Because nobody has really seen Lance play, so of course he'd have to say Jimmy gives them the better chance. If he'd have said Trey, exactly what would that be based off of?

Trey will shut them all up when he throws for 350 yards with 4 TD's 0 picks in week 1

Why did subway decide to pick this loser to be in their commercial?

Tim Tebow did commercials for T-Mobile. Is this how low the bar has fallen for JG? And it's Subway...the same Subway that had Jared Fogle, yes that Jared Fogle, he who was arrested for child porn and sex crimes, as their spokesman. If you're going to use something to prop up JG, you may want to use some other metric.

I think we all know why Subway picked him. It's the same reason why he has so many fans.

Outside of football he's as dumb as a bag of wheat
Another domino just fell. Browns signed QB Josh Dobbs.
Look I was on the Jimmy hype train. Still think he's serviceable but that train is gone. Just let him go already. He's not worth the headache and drama for a 3rd pick anymore.
A major concern is if he and agent Don Yee decide to lie about his injury recovery and say he still is injured after July to recover the 7.5 million. The only reason we still have him right now is because of this stupid guarantee. Wish we never would have put this into his contract. Crazy thing is that he never got thumb surgery and that might be Jimmy's ultimate fallback plan to guarantee the money.

Given the sudden announcement of surgery (likely didn't tell 49ers) for a "mild shoulder strain", I'm not even sure this dude wants to really be a starting QB. He prolly could have toughed it out for a year and delayed surgery. He should have worked hard with his agent and 49ers to get traded to Indy. That would have given him the best chance to be a starting QB for a few years and even win a few playoff games.

Truth is he's made over 100 million dollars, been to a super bowl, looks like a male model, and f**ks pornstars for a living. He's never that mad in games and always smiling no matter how s**tty he is playing. He has pretty much made it in life and has had a much better career as a QB than tons of QBs drafted higher than him (especially given his obvious physical limitations). He also has a great reputation as a leader and "winner".

I wouldn't be surprised if he is just happy making another 20-30 million over the next 5-10 years just bouncing back and forth across teams as a backup. He knows he's never getting a 100 million contract ever again and why would he want to deal with stress of the media harassing him and his poor play as a starting QB on another team.
I hear Jimbo regularly bathes in a tub full of vagisil to stay smelling nice and fresh. Probably why his teammates like him.

Agree with a lot of this. He wouldn't be the first player in the NFL to take it easy after their first big pay check.

I also never liked his attitude. You rarely see that fire from him that other QBs have. And dude played under Brady for all those years too

We're back to sitting around the phones then. Something major's about to pop off.

Hopefully they can talk other GMs into seeing what a great guy he is

Why would they do that when they are ok with him coming back? The only people that really
want him gone are the Jimmy victims who blame Jimmy for everything, even make up conspiracies about not being to extend players and like your saying a terrible attitude. I've provided quotes from multiple teammates who have went to bat for him every chance they have gotten. These guys want to win, not be potentially held back by a guy who's played 10 quarters. Again, don't think that's a hit on Trey but expecting a 22 year old to carry the team during a SB window is not the brightest idea.
