On the article one executive said Jimmy is no Drew Brees so they didn't care to go after a guy with his injury.
I understand that... Jimmy is Jimmy. Good, sometimes great, other times downright infuriating.
Another said this and it seems like common sense to me... Again this is a possibility the coach, GM, owner, and players all admit is on the table and has been even since mid to late season last year. Even though it's basic basic s**t, our fanbase has to create literal conspiracies that they will release Jimmy for nothing.
Another executive told Sando that he believes the 49ers should just wait things out, even if the waiting drags into the season. An injury might cause a team to get desperate enough to strike a deal.
"I'd just hold onto him. Wait," the excutive told Sando. "Someone will get desperate. I'd even keep him through the season. Why get rid of a guy just to get rid of him to play the other guy (Lance) if you know Jimmy has value? And Jimmy has value."
(it wont let me put the link for whatever reason but it's on the front page)
Jimmy Victims just want the guy gone no matter the consequences.
