Good, sometimes great, sometimes terrible

Come draft or come next season a team will
get desperate. To just cut him with the roster basically set is pointless. We still can do what we need. I mean we just signed some no name receiver.

But you say he is a good starting QB. $27 Million is a bargain for a good starting QB in today's market. And you just said a team will get desperate. You call him such a good QB but a team would have to be desperate to go after him?

When he's healthy yeah........ Dude just had surgery(again) and had a bum hand. 27 million plus a high draft pick for a guy that is oft injured on a one year deal is not ideal right now. If he was healthy he'd more than likely be gone. Again... something the FO has insinuated. We can take that risk as we are paying a bargain (your words) for a guy that can get us deep into the playoffs all while paying pennies for Trey. We are in a win win.

Come preseason/season and a team has an injury, Jimmy's scenario won't be as bad as he'll be healthy and could be a one year rental. Right now trading an oft injured QB on a 27 mill contact all while losing picks is a huge gamble. In October and a team needs a good QB(they may not right now) Jimmy might be a better gamble.

I said if he is a good QB it's a bargain. But I think he is average which makes it too much money. And unfortunetely it's how other teams see him. In the Steelers mind they are saying Trubinsky isn't that much of a down grade from Jimmy but is $23 Million cheaper and won't cost them a pick. If teams out there that were desperate for a QB believed Jimmy is a good starting QB, The $27 Million and the current injury which will be healed in a couple of months wouldn't be an issue, As would giving up a 2nd RD pick.
Bro if we lose Deebo and Jimmy is still on the team I'm gonna lose my s**t

If they trade Deebo they should package them together. Might be the only way a team trades for Jimmy.

EDIT nvm Phoenix has revealed his hard, powerful sternness and threatened to whip it upon the unsuspecting faces of those making jokes that may constitute being mean to posters. Thus, I will delete the part about WHO has what, and simply say that, were ANYONE to have a sex toy related to Jimmy, I can assure you it is not a passive sex toy. Jimmy is the one who penetrates. Always.

They lost Bosa for the entire 2020 season, Kittle missed half the season, Deebo missed a bunch of games and was never healthy, All their RB's were hurt etc etc. I am sure that had nothing to do with the losses when Jimmy wasn't playing. But no it was all Jimmy lol.

"Man, I think people got short-term memory loss or something because, before Jimmy came (the 49ers weren't good). . . . He saved us, I won two games, four games, and when Jimmy came he really turned it around, brought us to the point where we're at now. I have nothing but love and respect for Jimmy . . . being able to see what goes into it, what he goes through day in and day out."

Totally stacked, 9-30 stacked

I'll take Ariks word over a person who has an obvious hardcore bias thanks...but... He's a liar according to you. Everyone is a liar in this franchise... Everyone.

Arik, on if it's time for Trey Lance to start:

Yeah, I think so. You know, I think that's going to be the plan going into the season, and you know Trey is a young guy who's very talented and has a great demeanor. He came in and didn't say too much, was willing to learn and trying to figure out how to play the position, and I'm excited to see it.

Lol hates quotes but uses them when it fits his 100% hypocrite agenda. The audacity... I've always said I want Trey to start. I've said multiple times the "plan was to start Trey" but I've(with Kyle, York, Lynch) also said the door has been left open for Jimmy to return if not for the proper compensation. Arik isn't lying here like you claim he lies about Jimmy.

The only point you made was being a hypocrite......

In other words, if the 49ers can't trade Jimmy, they will keep him. Since the only other option is to cut him, that's not saying much. And as much as people say they think JG will be cut, I don't think he will. As long as the money he is owed does not prevent them from taking care of others, and they believe they can manage the media circus, there is no point cutting him. So, your statement, as well as those you have quoted, really aren't saying anything more than the obvious.

No one has stated that they 100% are not going to cut him. They said they aren't going to cut him just to cut him. Meaning the option of cutting him is still there if it benefits the team. If they need that money to sure up another position.
