Teams need to see him throw before they decide to trade for him and that won't happen until July.

Really tired of using stats to prove this guy is better than that guy. It doesn't matter since neither JG or Baker are getting much love form other teams.

Jimmy and Baker are in the same class basically. Both are average starters in this league. Jimmy is a bit more consistent, while Baker has more big play ability, but neither can consistently beat teams with their arm.

What does that mean, consistently beat teams with their arm?? Does a QB need to pass for 50 attempts a game to beat teams consistently with their arm??

Ya obviously.

Yeah, athleticism and age, I agree. I do appreciate you answering but I wasn't talking about you to be honest. I was talking to the guy who said he would take Baker but really has no explanation(never... NEVER does)as to why besides that he "just wants jimmy off the team".

(edit with your edit)Agree Jimmy is higher Mid Tier 2 qb. That's pretty good comparably. That seems like starter quality to me unlike the Baker fanboy thinks

Dude he just prefers one mediocre QB over another one. Neither are that great, coming off injuries, have limitations, and have cap implications.

I hurt his feelings again.

For me, that means to consistently convert on 3rd down and average 2 or more td passes per game.

You sure about that, because in comparison to Garoppolo and Mahomes 2019 stats, one QB passed for 2 or more TD's 6 times, while the other passed for 7 times. Guess who passed 2 or more TD's 7 times??

Ah but the guy who did average that ended up being the league MVP in 2019. The guys who can consistently beat teams with their arm year in and year out end up in Canton, Ohio. Those who can't usually don't.

What is Mahomes career average td's per game?

What is Jimmy's career average td's per game?

I just rewatched the Cowboys game ... Jimmy was very Tom Brady-like at the start of that game. He is excellent and misdirecting defenders ... his body language is confusing the tv cameras. All these subtle superlatives that nobody sees, that's what drives the winning percentage up. And it was a Tony Romo broadcast ... those are the best. At one point Romo says ... this game is getting interesting for the fans of the 49ers. I wish that every hater of Garoppolo would rewatch that game, if only to recognize that Dak Prescott is not as good as Garoppolo. If one game matters, then this game says it all. And it does include one of Jimmy's horrible interceptions ... but in the end, that interception did not matter.
People forget he finished with 3800 plus pass yards and missed the Texans and Cards games with those he's over 4000 yard season easy. If he wasn't injured at present we would have had a nice trade asset here.

and half the Seattle game.

And I don't know what "win with your arm" means either. Like he did constantly in the 4th quarter? Like he did in GB when Rodgers didn't?
