the 49ers are really an empire in that way. I don't think that there is any other franchise that would sacrifice a season because they prefer one qb over another. It's very unique, everyone seems enthralled with the concept that after a few loosing seasons, Trey Lance will win a Superbowl. No other fans in the entire NFL feel that way, it's just weird and bizarre.

I learned a few things since I've been observing the 49ers since Garoppolo's arrival... don't say "San Fran" and don't say "Niner's Nation" ... oh, and dare I say it?

I just read Cohn's article if one even calls it that. I guess it's a new era of journalism and you don't have to actually, you know, have any ability. Because his "submissions" such as it is, with Sports Illustrated no less, which also once had credibility, reads like a third grader with ADHD who's just been told mommy has his meal ready.

Jimmy is Jimmy and the pluses and minuses have been beat to death here there, and everywhere. But the way he ends it I almost want to answer him, "Why do you hate your job and life so much Grant? Haven't you seen and heard from the 49ers fans who would love to have a job like yours?"

I know if you told me for a 2nd round pick we would go to 2 nfc championship games and 1 Super Bowls. I would take it everyday given how awful we were after Harbaugh left. I don't understand the hate for Jimmy! The dude wins. I am rooting for Lance, but let's see how many super bowls he gets us too! Jimmys quick release makes our horrible oline look decent.

Or Jimmy being a statue makes it look worse.

Is that we're true the record with and without jimmy wouldn't be what it is. Facts do matter. The niners win with Jimmy at qb and his advanced metrics back it up.
