Troll!

Well then genius, name the NFL teams that wear those helmets.

Pretty sure EIU stands for Eastern Illinois University

Is that we're true the record with and without jimmy wouldn't be what it is. Facts do matter. The niners win with Jimmy at qb and his advanced metrics back it up.

Just not championships amirite? Lord knows we can talk about JG's 74% winning percentage all day long, but thou shall not speak of his 0% winning percentage in the only game that truly matters each year.
Gotta love Jimmy Garoppolo's talent

Dominant in highschool, college and the pros.

You can say this about pretty much every single QB outside of a few.

Wish we had that Jimmy.

I know Garoppolo is a good QB. You're all going to witness some of his greatness soon and miss him. I'll be the first one posting his highlights.

Lol so he's gonna be better on a worse team with a worse play caller with worse receivers?

K.

He could be a structurally better passer if the system is tweaked more for him.

The system is already tweaked for him. You can tell by comparing the 2016 Falcons and 2017 49ers offense to the current one.

EDIT: That said, the Panthers DO have GREAT weapons, so I don't know what the argument is here. The Panthers have OUTSTANDING skill position players. If I were Jimmy, I'd really want to go there. Christian McCaffrey, DJ Moore, Robby Anderson, these are guys he can do really well with. McCaffrey might have a career year with Jimmy throwing to him.

EDIT2: New thought... what if we just offer to straight up swap Jimmy for McCaffrey? Is it unrealistic? Maybe, but McCaffrey is injury prone and very much overpaid as a result. There'd be some sort of finaggling about who takes what penalties, but me thinks Shanahan would like that deal. Not only some nepotism for the son of a guy he balled boyed for, but also another guy who fits the "position-less offense" mold.

For you it may be unlikely. For Common sense it is the only option. Sorry.

Sorry man, it's so likely it's practically a guarantee that Trey will be the starter of the 49ers next year.

Until we can trade him, most likely.

Ridiculous, btw anyone sick of the Grant Cohn character. The dude just hates on Jimmy 24/7 to the point. The dude is such a troll! And no way, I wouldn't want to be 0-17. We were a few plays and a dropped int from a super bowl this season! Hopefully Trey goes at least 11-7 and we beat Dallas in Dallas again in the playoffs!

the 49ers are really an empire in that way. I don't think that there is any other franchise that would sacrifice a season because they prefer one qb over another. It's very unique, everyone seems enthralled with the concept that after a few loosing seasons, Trey Lance will win a Superbowl. No other fans in the entire NFL feel that way, it's just weird and bizarre.

I learned a few things since I've been observing the 49ers since Garoppolo's arrival... don't say "San Fran" and don't say "Niner's Nation" ... oh, and dare I say it?

My experience is that 49ers fans tend to not be up to date on what the fans of other teams think.
