Just sayin...

I think it hurts the team with Jimmy here because it hurts Trey. If this team wins the SB in the coming years it's going to be because of Trey, So you have to do what is best for him because what's best for Trey is what's best for the team.
How does it hurt Trey to have less draft capital? If we wanted to better the team we would've signed more than scrub WR's, camp depth, and 2 special teams guys. If defense, ST, running game, Shanny carried a s**tty QB in Jimmy, why can't they carry Trey?

But it doesn't hurt the team. It actually helps the team. Just sayin…….

So getting something in return is better than not getting something in return? Can you explain?

If Jimmy was hurting the team, he'd be gone. Instead... They are holding on to him until he has worth. But I'd like to hear your proof that Jimmy is the reason Deebo isn't signed if that's what you're saying. There are plenty of ways to still sign him.

Oh boy, this has been answered for you at least 10 times, all of which you want to argue. Not takin the bait, bud.

49ers points per game with Jimmy: 27

Late-game drives that have produced wins for the 49ers with Jimmy: 9 (9 in 46 games is impressive)

Worst point-differential loss for 49ers with Jimmy playing a full game: 14

You combine his on-field performance, which has been mostly very good in helping produce the above results, with his intangibles such as his leadership…this team has been very tough to beat with Jimmy as QB1.

Hoping Lance can be even better and help get this team over the hump for SB #6.
all team stats

maybe 4 games he carried the team when the team needed him

AllTheTime! How are you? You've been watching this team's QB play (and NFL QB play) probably as long as I have (going back to just before Montana). We both know football is a team sport...also know the QB position is the most important position in sports and it producing at least very good play (such as Jimmy - not great but very good) goes a long ways towards a team winning consistently. When you start to get a little bit of a larger sample size such as 46 full NFL games and your team has a 74% winning percentage w/ that QB, you know that QB is at least very good and doing good things throughout the course of games to help the team get wins in the ultra-competitive NFL.

Anyway, good to hear from you. By the way, go Dubs in the playoffs!
i don't mean to be harsh on jimmy. I didn't want him hear in the first place. Then he dazzled me and i was on board.. oh man the wins.. the wins blinded me to think he was going to get better and better. it took almost 5 years for me to stop hoping for the best and just start praying after every throw that nothing bad would happen (after four or five games into the 2021 season). in the end, He just kept making the same mistakes that i knew will just hurt us in the end and it did.

I have no idea what to expect with Trey.. but he has shown flashes. I just hope those flashes become brighter without any darkness in between those flashes

as for Dubs.. i will be there Wednesday

I agree about Lance...he has shown some flashes and promise in limited action. Really hoping he can be the guy now & for the future considering what was given up to get him.

Great you're going Wed. Hope they can close it out!

'Guys like that don't fall out of trees, He's a good player at a position where they're hard to find. And so you certainly don't just give guys like that away and we can, I guess, foot the bill if you want to describe it as that. And so we'll be patient with that one."

Just as I've been right about the entire time.

Just as I echo what the entire team says about his impact.

I do love a good conspiracy though.

Lmfao your arguments r as bottom of the barrel as they come. Your undying love for a pedestrian player carried by his team is laughable. And if u are so brilliant than u would understand the 20 plus million saved on the books let alone the distractions of having this middling qb on the roster far far outweigh a 5th round draft pick which is probably overstating his value. But hey u wanna swing on the nuts of your god jimmy u better get swinging cuz he's a career backup the rest of his career. Aka Teddy b 2.0. Now that's a bottom of the barrel qb

20 mill? Why not just cut him if the money is that important? Yes I understand we save money if he's healthy but If we were going to spend money why waste it on special teams, no name WRs, and camp depth? How much of that 20+mill is already accounted for going towards Bosa and potentially Deebo? Bosa is going to be in the high 20's himself.

Here's Lynch today saying exactly what I'm saying. I'm right as always but by all means tell Lynch how bottom of the barrel is. Tell the GM that agrees with me how much more you know about football...

Put the word "will" in place of "can" and you might actually have something solid.

The gm of ANY team will lie straight to your face. Of course that's not true with the almighty jimmy who 31 other teams passed on like std riddled street walker.

Things might change when that injury money isn't hanging over their head. But right now there isn't any reason to cut him.
