IMO the Panthers are really the only team that makes that much sense. He is a clear upgrade over Darnold. Will see though. I think it is more than likely no team wants Jimmy at his current contract.

Eh I think having a guy who is seasoned with Mills makes more sense. If it all goes to hell you take a QB next year. If Mills wins the job and he's good he's the guy going forward. With Mills and Willis Mills is a lock for the job so you won't know what ya have in Willis.

Texans have so many needs bigger than QB to address.

Ya sounds like he isn't getting traded.

Tomorrow is the most realistic day for a trade. Jimmy's value starts around 4th round.

Unfortunately, I have to agree.

Let's just have a team give us their 5th rounders for the next three years and call it a day.

2nd round next year and a late round this year.

I'm assuming they misheard and he said a conditional 2024 7th round pick (with the condition being him winning league and Super Bowl MVP).

I really hope that's not serious

Lynch is like the Native American in Joe Dirt trying to sell snake and sparklers. The NFL teams are the consumer looking for something better. And Joe Dirt is everyone trying explain to him.

They don't even talk about Jimmy, all about Baker. So we still need to wait for another domino first (Baker). 2nd

Eh is Malik Willis an upgrade on Davis Mills? I don't see why the Texans would take a young guy. Roll with Mills over this poor crop of qbs.

Its one year and can be renegotiated/extended. His next deal will max out at about 25 a year, which would bode well for them considering what QBs are going for. If you are a bad team, Jimmy looks good for this year.

Plus all the 2nd round rookie QB's who are likely to be taken.

So many dominos to fall.

Lets hope that they are wrong. Anything is a win at this point. Only way we get a 2nd is if we add a 4

I definitely could see the potential for more interest if he would renegotiate his contract. I think there are teams who would want Jimmy, just not at 25 mil a year. I don't think teams want to pay that for a guy they don't see as the long-term answer at QB. This QB draft class is terrible and still no one has taken Jimmy. If anyone is still interested in Jimmy at this point then he must have been there plan Z.

Surely Lynch can't be that naive?
