The point of the comment is that there is no rational financial or talent basis to keep Jimmy.
NFL.com ranks him at #20 and that's being generous.
And it wasn't a hot streak. Foles has had a better career than Jimmy as he did make it to the Pro Bowl under Chip Kelly.
He has experience in RPO, Play action, and stepping in for a highly drafted NDSU QB. And again, he's far cheaper option.

The only way jimmy is traded or cut is if lance can do the job. Period. That's it. That's the only way he's off this roster.
