Lynch continues to say trade talks for Jimmy were progressing until he opted for surgery. I wonder if they were negotiating with a team he didn't want to play for, so he decided to have the surgery to avoid that specific trade.

Haha. The punt to Tyreek Hill. The "other" Jimmie.
That wasn't on Jimmie. Was on Moseley.
Yeah. He didn't get beat on a double move. Ward made the right read on the ball broke on it and once Moseley blew his assignment Hill beelined it to the sideline. I provided the coverage and breakdown a year or so ago from some coordinators I found online. They all agreed Saleh made the right call and Jimmie made the right read based on the coverage.

because he gave up airballs to Tyreek Hill?
Jimmy was only 90% responsible for the Super Bowl loss. There's plenty of blame to go around for that last 10%.
The defense folded big. A huge amount of responsibility is on them. More than Jimmy G.

If Lance is not ready or continues to underwhelm Jimmy G could definitely be the starter next year. Probably good to have him on the roster another year.

I think that's what's going to happen.
Lol all the people here who would opt for being an an NFL "free agent" over taking $25M,....please raise your hands.

Lol a vast majority of interceptions are like this. Literally most interceptions are poor throws or bad reads. I can show every QB in the league throwing an interception worse than this. It was actually a very good play by the DB imo but hey twitter and stuff. Making garbage points since day one.
Which one are you referring to? That was a LOOOONG video.
The first as far as DB, as far as the rest they are typical ints that nearly every QB makes. Hell Stafford had one to Tartt that possibly could've helped win us the game if caught. You guys act like there are QBs that throw good interceptions and it's just a terrible argument.
There was no argument made, actually. I only saw a guy sarcastically posting a message about Jimmy along with a video of him throwing a bunch of picks. The video isint an argument,...it's only evidence.
You made your own argument up out of nowhere and then called it terrible.

First off, I totally disagree with this.
But if I were to consider this, why would any of us want this. Jimmy has proven to be winner in the regular season and a choker in the biggest games. Considering our roster, I think he could take our team to the playoffs. But we'd lose in heartbreaking fashion again. Any argument to the contrary would be the dictionary definition of insanity. Now, maybe Lance is worse. And in that case, we'll have to reset the franchise. Maybe Lance is the same, shrinks in the big moments. And then at least we have a cheaper version of Jimmy. And maybe he's better, and then we're in business.

I don't know how someone can put a percentage on it but I would put blame on Jimmy, the defense and Kyle for abandoning the run in the second half.

lol he had the worst 4th QR QB rating in Super Bowl history. There's plenty of film out there showing missed reads, bad throws, and checking out of runs. So no you're wrong...again.
Jimmy Garoppolo in the fourth quarter: 3-of-11, 36 yards, INT, fourth-down sack

Jimmy Garoppolo had 2.8 rating in 4th quarter. The only player w/ lower rating in 4th quarter of playoff loss since 2000 season (min 5 attempts) was Vince Young at 0.0 (1 for 5, 6 yards INT) vs in 4th quarter vs Chargers 1/6/08

Jimmy Garoppolo's 4th Qtr Passer Rating (2.8) ranks 42nd of the 42 starting QB's in the Super Bowl since the stat was tracked in 1999 by @pfref

I don't know how many plays there was but Jimmy did check out of runs pre-snap in the second half FWIW.

You might be right. Just going by memory.
