Kyle Pitts lol imagine that. Dude won ATL a ton of games for sure....Grant just sticking his name to the guy that was pretty "safe" in last yrs draft. As far as his Lance stuff, he watched the practices and came to his own conclusion. He's a engagement/click whore so there's that lol. SI doesn't pay him a salary, he's basically a sales rep (get's commission) who get's cash off clicks, engagements, and online traffic. Dude's gotta make a buck and he has the perfect fan base to profit off of.

God, I hope not - at least not at $25M.

I have no idea what the schedule indicates for that dude to say that...Lance is the starter and should be treated as such.

Agreed.

If people need more evidence that the team is moving off jimmy the Brock Purdy interview mentioned an interesting tidbit of how Lance and Sudfield contacted him but not Jimmy. From my pov it looks like the team is moving to Lance because if Jimmy was still in that leadership role he'd most likely contact him as well due to how good of a leader he is.

Ok explain how he's been treated as the starter. I know you will answer at least unlike smiley boy. What specifically have they done to treat Trey as the starter?

Keep Jimmy's return a possibility?
Not give him the keys?
In reality, they are just waiting to see if they can still get something in return for Jimmy. I am completely okay with them waiting to see if Trey comes into OTA's and TC prepared to take over the starting role before they just flat out cut Jimmy.

So many signs to show this is Lance's team... that there isn't a need to announce he is the starter.. because it's moot point

  • You do not draft high for QB to only sit
  • Kyle implementing Lance in games to get his feet wet for the 2022 season
  • Announcing Jimmy is on the trade block (this is biggest sign ever)
  • actively trying to trade an injured jimmy
  • no current plans that include jimmy in the offense

Dude you listening to the players and who they've been in contact with and talking about? Sure as s**t hasn't been Jimmy. You been living under a rock, since the season ended and they've been pretty damn open to move Jimmy. You're not doing that if you expect him to be your starter. Kyle has literally said it lol

"That's why we looked into trading Jimmy," Shanahan said Tuesday from the NFL's Annual League Meeting in Palm Beach, Florida. "Because we obviously believe Trey can be a starter and we're ready to do that. But if we can't upgrade our team in another way, we're not going to just get rid of a good quarterback because we have other quarterbacks on the roster. Quarterbacks are really hard to come by, some teams don't have any at all, and the fact that we have three that we're happy with, that is a good thing."

This sounds like someone that has been informed of the team's future plans.
