Sure. I would be happy with anything at this point. Baker a former #1 overall still very much in his prime went for pretty much nothing.. teams simply didn't need QBs this offseason nearly as much as a typical year imo.. tell Cam Newton the market is strong..

We drafted TL cuz JG missed most all 2018.. we gave him a pass that was a one-off.. but then he did it again missed most all 2020.. too injury prone..

In a league where you mostly likely will never establish any kinda of long term success with out a great QB, there will always be a market. The league will never be saturated with high end QB talent because it's one of the hard positions in sports to play at a high level. A saturated market is excuses.

The fact that the college draft was lacking should have improved JGs marketability.

Matt Ryan is old and overrated.

Because they still needed a backup quarterback. I'm sure they were also hoping that Watson wouldn't see more than 4-6 games suspension, which Brissett could carry you for. if they have to rely on him for any longer than that, they're screwed.

Brissett has a many months head start working all offseason with the CLE coaches and players.. that matters..

A crap quarterback having a head start doesn't change the fact that he's a crap quarterback. I don't know if the Browns make the playoffs with Garoppolo, I'm willing to bet quite a bit that they don't make it with Brissett.
