First of all, I just gave you a second year, which supports the results of the 2021 data. Second, you're talking about TOTAL TURNOVERS, I'm talking about interception percentage or interceptions per game. Third, you're talking about turnover EDGE. That's a comparison between two teams and win percentage, and when I say "teams" I mean it, because it's a direct comparison between two teams.
Do you understand the flaw in your counter here? This is not an apples to apples comparison.
If you wanted an apples to apples comparison, you'd need me to go through and compare INTERCEPTION EDGE between two QBs in a given game (say Jimmy throws 1 and Stafford throws 2). But that isn't what interceptions gives you.
Additionally, total turnovers includes fumbles.
You do understand that turnover edge is NOT THE SAME THING as interceptions, right?
EDIT—I believe what I said was INTs don't matter much.
Why did you leave that qualifier out? It's almost like you're trying to deceive. Kind of like how you've brought in this apples to oranges comparison, comparing the net result from two teams with a team stat to the single stat of QB INTs. "Don't matter much" means that COMPARED TO OTHER QB STATISTICS they do not matter much. Nothing has meaning apart from comparison to something else.
I mean, that would be like me saying points scored has X-win% correlation, and then you chiming in with score differential to say that points scored win% is inaccurate. I mean really, you don't seem like you're focused enough for this discussion. Team turnover differential is simply not the same thing as interceptions. They are related, but not overwhelmingly. Interceptions are mostly on your QB, and to a lesser extent, your targets, your line, their defensive line, and their backend defenders. But turnover differential is ALSO dependent on all their offensive players, as well as all your defensive players. Not to mention, both team's special teams.
They are not the same. So stop acting like they are the same. You are making a massive logical fallacy.
You've been given two years of data supporting the claim that INT% has only a weak negative correlation with winning. How many more will be strong enough to break through your anti-Jimmy bias on this? Note that this is coming from someone who the Jimmy bots think is a Jimmy hater.
Okay now interceptions are not turnovers.
😂😂😂😂😂
I'm done here.
This is LITERALLY what I wrote before you went on your diatribe. Notice the bold. Just scroll up and read it. No? I'll post again:
I absolutely disagree and you're going to have to provide some proof here because TURNOVERS ABSOLUTELY correlate to W/L, especially in the playoffs and I can provide an endless stream of articles about that. The fact we win despite that speaks to the talent on the team that can overcome qb -driven turnovers. As evidence I don't see a lot of teams looking for QB starters who have gaudy INT rates.

Not to be insensitive, but how fortunate would that be for us.

"He should be, in my opinion," Saleh said of Flacco as a starter, via Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports. "He could start in this league. I believe that. Sometimes this league has a tendency to pigeonhole people, or put labels on people, and then their opportunities kind of get limited. But Joe Flacco is a starting quarterback in this league. He's really, really talented."

We'll find out shortly just how genuine he was being there.

Only if you lack the basic intelligence to follow the argument.
Turnovers consist of more than INTs, and turnover DIFFERENTIAL—which he brought up—consists of more than simply turnovers.
The issue is that you guys are not capable of following extremely simple chains of reasoning.
Right now, yes or no: is turnover differential the same thing as interceptions?
It's a yes or no question. Please answer yes or no. If your answer is no, I'll expect an apology.
