Yeah, me too. But what is the trade value of two weeks of Jimmy during the pre season? And by the time they work out the new contract and trade details, maybe only a week left before he's a free agent anyway. And why would Jimmy even do it when the total cost to his new team (trade compensation and pay) would be less come August 30, meaning his agent could get more of that in pay for him. And I think more teams will be interested in him if there is no trade cost, meaning he can get teams competing for him, where that is very unlikely now.

Call me a skeptic. We ain't getting $hit for him.

I know it is considered juvenile to give players nicknames here but is Jimmy Ghostoppolo getting traded this week?

Why does anyone believe this garbage... A member of the coaching staff in 2018... do you think they are jaded much? Wasnt it a similar source that created a bunch of BS earlier in the offseason?

How many players have stood by JG through his tenure here? Not once has anything been an issue and his biggest pros are that he is the ultimate team captain and rallies his guys around him, despite his limited ceiling. And he is limited, but his biggest asset is the leadership and belief in his teammates that no matter what they have a chance. Are his 4th quarter performances a coin flip whether he is good or bad.. absolutely.

But a hit piece trying to drive down his value in a possible trade is bushleague, like come on now, a casual observer can tell its just some dude on a staff that wants him trying to drive down his value or make sure he is cut so they can sign him. If Bradford or Mayfield got traded for picks, JG should at least get one even if its a 3rd day. He's definitely better than those scrubs lol.

Supposedly, according to Florio, Watson is trying to come to an agreement. I don't think the league goes for it. Goddell wants that one year ban.

Attorney's have become masters at delay tactics. You would think they would want this settled as soon as possible but who knows what kind of negotiations are going on.

I think the league knows something... Or I am just reading too much into the niners only making 4/5 cuts that they needed too....
