I'm waiting to see what happens with Watson. Otherwise, I agree he's getting cut on Aug. 30.

Why are you hoping he gets cut? At least hope he gets traded for a Mr. Irrelevant pick.

Alright Polka let's head on over and knock his door.. see if he's still alive
I just got done with my Zoom call with 31 NFL GMs. They all thought he died, that's why they haven't been active in the trade market. Surely now that I have informed them he is alive, the 49ers will receive multiple first round picks for the GOAT known as JG.
This can be our pitch to other clubs..
Jimmy G.. he's still alive ppl..
send draft picks to 4949 Centennial Blvd
Please send pic of Jimmy holding up today's newspaper to verify.

this sounds way worse than I thought it'd be
I mean none of this should really be news to anyone cause we've been hearing it during his time here, in particular from Kittle. But yeah to your point; most definitely not what any team would want in a "franchise QB"
But he is such a good team mate.
One can be a good team mate on the field, in the huddle, in the locker room during the season and still be kind of flaky and want to do their own thing away from everyone else.
I'm not trying to defend him so much. I mean in one sense you're ghosting your employer. It is in a very real sense disrespectful. Whether it's intentionally so or not.
But at the same time as usual people are just letting their overall less than great feelings about Jimmy color this as well.
I don't think Tom Brady is the greatest team mate. In fact, from a distance he seemed like a whiny, finger pointing douchebag his last year in New England. Obviously he's miles better as a quarterback compared to Jimmy though.
Nope. Franchise QB requires more than the minimum. Ghosting your team mates is not a good way to build chemistry and show leadership. He is an idiot. No wonder nobody wants him he is not a very good QB on field or off the field. Let's not forget the s**tshow he is around injuries.
Brady comment is pure speculation.
No, I wouldn't call it that at all. I would call it an opinion based on observation. And you don't have to agree with it.
But no, I don't like Brady the guy. I don't like what I saw his last year in New England. I don't like how he comes across personality wise when he's not being "PR Tom" after games. Don't like him running off the field like a little you know what and leaving other QB's hung out to dry when he loses. And on and on.
None of that means he's not one of the all time greats. But it's funny when how you're one of the all time greats people make excuses for your crappy behavior as a human and when you're not that gets magnified and added to everything.
As far as Jimmy goes, as I said it's not something he should have done. But again people on the internet are making a bigger deal out of it than any of his team mates did because of course the internet folk know better and all that.
Maybe once he's gone we'll hear more things negative. But then that is indeed by definition pure speculation. We shall see.

How pissed do you think Jimmy G is when he see's that we let go of Dennard because he wasn't going to beat out the young guy?

We're all frustrated about this JG situation but just think about how frustrating it must be for Jimmy that teams aren't showing more interest. The surgery didn't help but if teams really though he could be the guy they would have made a deal by now. If the Browns can trade for a guy facing a possible year long suspension then an injured guy shouldn't be that much of a problem. The problem is teams don't see him as a long term solution and bringing him in for one or two years could just mess uo a teams chance to get one of the QBs coming out of college.
Right now, Jimmy is better than any QB coming out of college but he would cost more and the durability issue is always hanging there. He isn't someone you are going to build around. You would need to have a team that's ready to win now.
