i would love to get a pick for him.. but i am coming to terms with the realism that he will be cut cuz of the salary. no one wants to pay him .. it goes back to lynch thinking we could get high picks for him and over valuing him which to me,,, started the path of him still being on the team

I think so, but I'd assume Jimmy would have to restructure. But Jimmy gets a starting gig (at least for 12 games) to audition for 2023. And this is the best team he can do it with. As long as Niners aren't eating contract, they'll let him go for cheap. And Jimmy gets an extra 2 weeks of prep instead of waiting to get cut.
