The point is to not do Jimmy nor Seattle any favors.

Why does this simple fact hurt their feelings so much? Lol

Is it possible for you to post in this thread without using the word feelings, triggered, haters, or anything of that nature? My god give it a rest.

Who cares if Seattle gets Jimmy? I find it hard to believe that even the biggest Jimmy fans would believe that Jimmy makes Seattle a threat.

But feelings is exactly what this is about. Because there is nothing logical about cutting Jimmy right now. Him going to Seattle (if that's what happens) now versus going to Seattle a few days before the season starts makes a huge difference. So keeping him is strategic, if only from that standpoint. And if another team's QB gets hurt, then that opens up another trade partner.

The only thing that cutting Jimmy now accomplishes is relieving his haters on the Webzone from the "torture" of having his thread in Niner Talk. I mean honestly how emotionally soft can you be?

Nah, there was just an absurd about of starting QBs that we're available via trade this off season…when's the last time we had these many vet QBs get moved in one off season? s**t never happens.

Jimmy's shoulder surgery made moving him nearly impossible….if he was a better QB then it's a different story, but it being Jimmy AND a shoulder surgery PLUS reworking a contract…s**t wasn't gonna happen. I see no excuse or whatever you're trying to throw out there. He's a starting caliber QB on a dozen or so teams right now. s**t hasn't worked out. Win some lose some.

Yeah I'm fine if he goes there, I'm still not gonna cut him until the absolute last hr.

How can you be this logical regarding when to cut Jimmy (who you hate) but simultaneously so emotional about Trey throwing wobblers? Lol

of course this is the truth...... suddenly we are fearful of him going to seattle.. who gives a rats ass... people who say that must have zero faith in our defense... of all teams in the nfl.. we know exactly what he can not do.... i hope he goes to seattle and i hope our defense brutalizes him

Da fuq lol? Why give a division rival any sort of advantage? JG is better than anyone they currently have and may have incite on any tendencies of this offense or even Lance. It typically takes 17 games on film for the league to figure out a QB, why speed that up just for them.

I get it, we are a superior team why be afraid of anyone blah blah blah. It's competition and gamesmanship, we were one inch and one game from going from homefield advantage to a wildcard in 2019. We were a miraculous comeback and one game away from not even making the playoffs last year. Keep any advantage you can and deny other teams that benefit... its not f*ckin rocket science when it comes to competitive sports lol.

Because you're the one being emotional over Lance…your posts in that page have made that clear as day for a while now.

Wobblers can be a problem, regardless of who throws them.

I'm not convinced that Jimmy going to Seattle wouldn't be the best possible scenario for us.

Agree. We would feast on his ass. Then Jimmy would add just enough wins (more then Lock/Smith) to not make the playoffs and not get the top 3 pick for a QB

I have PLENTY of positive things to say about Trey and I'm super excited about watching him this season. You just focus in on the posts about his wobblers, because you're an overly emotional person and get triggered easily. It's just who you are now. Which is strange because you haven't always been this way. Everything okay?

The advantage would come from cutting him now and giving him and Seattle more time to practice together. How can anyone be this dense?

I'll defend Lynch. Proof is in the pudding man. All you have to do is look at the team he has put together, the draft picks and FA signings. No, not all are hits, but a higher percentage than most teams. And if this draft class, with our first pick essentially being a 3rd rounder pans out like it's looking so far……
