I dont doubt this. Not a football-lover from my vantage point.

Never got the impression he didn't love the game. Just not very good at it.
Nick Mullens, more trade value than Jimmy lol

lol, id say he doesn't have that dog in him the greats do for sure, but you summed it up pretty good.

He has two Superbowl winners rings (from his Pats days) and a whole heap of dough.

His offseasons, sitting out from possibly minor injuries from his Patriot days, et. al. give me a completely different view than yours.

I mean I "enjoy" alot of games but the ones I love, I'm committed to. The guys that love the game risk life and limb to continue playing.

He's had a solid career contractually. Not much to complain about and given the health issues associated with the game I wouldnt at all be surprised to see him walk away from it soon.

Jimmy could make a good career out of being one of the higher paid backups if he can't find a starting job. He would have less chance of getting injured and could still make a decent salary. Better QBs than him have been backups at some point of their career.

lets go 7 days,, if its longer, we have to cut a player to keep him I think..... lets not let him screw us to the end . cut him.. have seattle sign him the next day and then we abuse him at home. simple. i will neither applaud or boo when he comes out in a hawk uniform that day. i will go pee and get a hot dog.. do they have good hot dogs at levis?

i guess i should be grateful for that.. i will not believe he is gone till i see it and see this thread out of niner talk.... so funny how i used to be.. when i thought he was our quarterback of the future.. i melted down when they took their time extending him or giving him a new deal.... now i go the other way in wanting him off the team. maybe trent taylor made him as good as he was in his early days here after all
My sources are telling me it's the Seattle situation that's why he's not released yet
