Yeah but the Chiefs werent our rivals. I would argue they just did that because they thought our team churned out good to great QBs. They werent plucking them from us in effort to use whatever knowledge to try to beat us like Jimmy fans are fearing will happen in Seattle.

I love the Fearful Jimmy fans. His arm and his head don't miraculously improve when he puts on that god awful uniform. He is still give it away Jimmy. He still can move out of the pocket and he will still be prone to injury. Jimmy will always be Jimmy. The difference is he will actually contribute to us beating Seattle if he is under center for them..

we lose to seattle cuz for some reason we coach scared and play scared vs them.. they punch us in the mouth and for some reason we fold. and of course i think we had a very bad mental block against wilson....... if jimmy plays for them,.. i refuse to think our team will be scared of jimmy like i really think they were of wilson

Didn't think about that. Great point!

The reason he's not practicing with the team is they have no plans to keep him. Why risk him getting hurt and then being stuck with him. If Jimmy was going to give away any secrets then he already knows them. Kyle doesn't do a new playbook every year.

I looked it up and couldn't find any sites that said it was a big issue. Look at all the players that move around. If it's a big issue then you should be worried about Nick Mullens now with the Vikings.

The only negative about Jimmy going to a rival is the slim chance that they might beat the Niners. The Seahawks always beat the Niners with Wilson often pulling off some big play. I don't expect that from Jimmy. The play books are huge and each team only uses a few plays each week. Good offensive guys disguise their plays and the defense does the same.

I read tha tlink and nothing I saw was any big secret. All things that any good coaching staff and scouts would already know.

Bottom line is if the Niners are going to fear a weak Seahawks team because JG goes there then they aren't real contenders anyway.

Anyone that wants Seattle to get better are nuts. Jimmy is inconsistent but he's plenty capable of having really good games and it won't help if he has a chip on his shoulder (no pun intended). I'd much rather go against Drew Lock or Geno. These division games are the most important games and fans want the road to be tougher. Crazy

Its not Jimmy vs Geno/Drew though.

Its Geno/Drew with a full offseason to practice with the team, study the playbook, and build chemistry with their wide receivers VS Jimmy with basically no offseason/limited playbook and no chemistry with their pass catchers.

Not to mention their offense is designed to take shots down the field which is Jimmy's weakness.

That being said, I still think Jimmy is an upgrade but its not like he's going to make a huge difference like people assume he would.
