regardless of anyones opinion of Jimmy Garoppolo, his time as the starting QB for this team is over. Time to see where Trey Lance will take the team, which will hopefully be the their first super bowl in 28 years.

Yup clearly it is TO who was not a first rounder.

Jimmy going to the Seahawks would just stop them from being able to grab their franchise QB. Jimmy would make them good enough to not get a top 10 pick but not good enough to make them a contender. It screams 8-9

Falcons is probably the only game you can argue on. Others not so much.

bears, Deebo saved us
rams, deebo and defense saved us
bengals, we were fortunate to get two cinci ST fumbles to help us start scoring or it would have been a different story and don't forget the dropped jimmy pick 6 at the end

like I said one or two passes a game in 2021 doesn't make an entire game played well.

now I would go to bat for jimmy 2019 a lot more than Jimmy 2021

He could miss the playoff but show promise and we'd be looking good going into 2023 (Herbert missed playoffs). We could make it to the NFCCG and Lance could really struggle and we'd be nervous going into the offseason. After all, Jets fans could see the writing on the wall with Sanchez, even though he made two playoff runs.

I grade Jimmy as the 15-20 best QB, if Lance can match that, we should be a fringe playoff team (last last year). If he's 10-15, then we have a real shot at the SB. If he's top-10, we could have a dynasty. And if he's not a top-20 QB, then I don't expect us to make the playoffs and we could be looking "nervous" about 2023 and beyond.
